my roommate and his gf got me this piece for my bday. they had randomly asked me what my 3 favorite pokemon were some weeks ago and they got them designed on it (if you can't see them they're empoleon, mimikyu, and umbreon). the front has a pokeball design too. im so happy with it.

 

cant stand this design

 

I’m pretty indifferent. But I will say there is something about it that doesn’t feel like a “pokemon” to me.

 

I don't get why it's not electric/fighting

Mienshao was a good design that's about it, and that's more of a ferret

 

Going to the biggest Pokemon Center tomorrow.

 

I finished the Pokemon League for gr second time in Moon and am sitting through 10 minutes and counting worth of cut scenes.

I just want to save and quit.....

 

So, I'm going to a con this weekend with an USUM tourney, but it is singles. I've been running doubles teams but don't know what to run in singles.

 

Forgot to share stuff with you guys! I had a ton of fun in Japan.

 

So I ended up coming in second overall using a team of Mimikyu (with Let' Snuggle Z move), Malamar (super power/contrary), Charizard Y, Tapu Koko (choice scarfed), Mamoswine (Ice Shard/nevermeltice), and skill link Cinccino (life orb). My opponent was the same guy who eliminated me at Too Many Games (in Oaks, PA) last summer. I think the only thing I might do differently for the summer tourneys is to give Cinccino a status cure berry because she got burned early on and was effectively neutered at that point.

The battle video is more than 13 minutes of playback.

It was funny, our semi-final round had a bunch of people watching, but the finals had less than half. The overall winner went undefeated in the double-elimination tourney and pulled a full-on Ed Norton/American History X on my team.

 

Haha hell yeah. I follow you and got so jealous. Need to go back to Japan soon. Hopefully, this year.

 

I love singles because I love Gliscor but the games are too slow.

 

Can't get over how much I hate the design

I agree. The Tepig and Litten lines would have been so much better if they stayed on all fours.

 

So I’m playing through SoulSilver right now and I’m right before badge 8 (Claire). My team is (all around lev. 35 until I do some grinding before taking on Claire):
Meganium
Ampharos
Nidoqueen
Vulpix
Poliwhirl
Dewgong

And I’m just now realizing that there isn’t a way to reasonably get fire stones or water stones until after the elite 4.... argh

 

so rumor going around is that the switch game is called pokemon let's go! pikachu

 

And Let’s go Eevee

 

Are those apart of the main series or another spin off?

 

Pokemon Yellow remakes apparently

 

all of the rumors sound awful and disappointing.

 

Not gonna judge it on a name (but the names sound dumb), but I am really not down for a Yellow remake unless it is a SIGNFICANT re-imagining.
