My GameStop was shut back down and everything when I showed up at 12:15 so fuck 'em I guess I'll be there first thing in the morning

 

Only about 20-25 people showed up at the midnight release here.

Picked Litten. Think I'm going to keep the Caterpie I got in honor of Ash. Not sure how I want to fill out the rest of my party though.

The game looks great though. Just polish the graphics a bit more and it would look at home on console.

My steelbook dual pack is set to be delivered around 2 PM, me and the girlfriend are just going to stay in our PJs and place this all weekend barring an Eldritch Horror session tomorrow. Very excited. X/Y were the first games she had played since Red/Blue so she's even more stoked, whereas I've played 'em all and am glad to have more fresh mechanics than usual.

Still struggling between Rowlet and Litten, though. I always go with the grass starter, but I'm a pro wrestling nerd and idk if I can pass a Tiger Mask inspired Poke up.

 

I'll still pick up Sun version today. If Stars looks appealing then I'll play it on a friend's Nintendo Switch.

 

Patiently waiting for Moon to be delivered today. I'm so pumped.

 

Got my Amazon preorder about an hour ago. Starting this tonight.

 

first 30 minutes of this game is the jolliest thing ive played all year 2016.

I'm kinda irked with Gamestop. Yesterday they had the release date for the strat guide listed as today. So i preordered it with my game. Then they said it didn't come in last night so I had to wait. Now today they changed the release date to tomorrow and said they have it but can't give it to me until tomorrow.

 

Won't be getting mine until tomorrow but I have off work so hopefully it gets delivered pretty early in the day.

 

Starting now. I am so excited

 

There's a hell of a lot of cut scenes early on. I'm ready to get past that and get my grind on.

 

I still haven't decided on a starter. I'm sincerely considering picking Litten and just never evolving it.
