I think I'm leaning toward Sun because of Alolan Ninetales and Braviary. But Drampa is in Moon.... I also didn't know until this morning that the fossil pokemon are split between versions, which I'm pretty bummed about.
Which Pokémon are version exclusives? I want to get Moon but everyone else I know is getting it so I'm going to buy Sun.
This list looks like it was most recently updated yesterday. http://www.ign.com/wikis/pokemon-sun-pokemon-moon/Pokemon_Sun_and_Moon_Version_Differences
I preordered Moon a while back because I liked Lunala more than Solgaleo. However, after hearing that Vulpix/Ninetales and Turtanator* are Sun exclusives I'm a bit bummed I didn't pick that one up. *I think that Turtanator's design is a bit laughable. However, having a fire/dragon would be perfect for the team I've been thinking about building.
Looking at the exclusives now has made me realise that I don't really prefer one over the other... all my favourites aren't exclusives.
I guess I referred to them as fossil Pokémon, but obviously I don't know anything about the story line and how they are acquired.
A little bummed Moon won't have Alolan Ninetales but I'm sure a friend will trade me one. Is wonder trade in the games?
I went ahead with pre-ordering Moon today. I was pretty torn as well but literally my deciding factor was that Sun's totem Pokémon looks like Donald Trump and I want no part of that.
ive mostly ben hearing that it is significantly harder than xy. the totem battles apparently take most people a few tries. theres also a magnemite pretty early on that everyone has troubles with.
One thing to be wary of with wonder trade is these games are already hacked so there will no doubt be hacked pokemon flying about on it from the start. I'm so pissed off Nintendo delayed this until next week in Europe. I have a US 3DS but I can't charge and play at the same time cause the charge port is broken.
