I unfortunately have to report that this is a disaster. 35 players and we failed to defeat Blastoise twice. Most gave up after that. Niantic didn’t say this in advance, but on top of you only using dynanax Pokemon, you can’t heal your defeated Pokemon. Once your 3 Pokemon are out you can only “cheer.” Absolutely ridiculous.

 

Maybe their worst new feature yet?

 

I am not going to attempt to do one but yeah they vastly overpowered these things.

 

My local group has been trying to coordinate something but the most people they had was 12 - when Mega Rayquaza was out in the summer there was a group of 40+ so its looking like a lack of interest rather than lack of available players.

I am much more interested in Shadows but there is rarely any interest in doing the raids for them beyond one-offs like Mewtwo/Lugia, I know better than to get any hopes up for 40-man raids lol

 

I'm still not sure that will motivate people to get out there and use that feature. Pokemon Go will never have a pre-covid player base again. Not sure why all of their big budget features seemingly miss that notion.

You shouldn't have to, shiny legendaries have 100% catch rate

 

Nope, used about 40-50 ultra balls

 

Lol whoops I meant the wild ones never flee, it's the raid legends that have 100% catch rate

 

I don't think I really understand what this Go Arena thing is today

 

took me 11 months to finish the shiny Shaymin research, but I did it

 

i've stopped playing for the most part - just too much event based stuff that requires you to spend money/tries to give you fomo

I'm opening it up every now and then to transfer shinies to pokemon home but that's mostly it

 

Yeah I mostly just open it when I am out on a walk and only really am trying to catch anything new

 

That would explain the Pokémon Go stuff being including in the Saudi propaganda that airs during WWE
