There actually is one today that’s runs from 2-5pm local time. It’s a field research event that features electric types and the research encounters will have boosted odds.

You just had a lucky day lol. Tangela and Pidgey have normal odds, Tapu Koko has the normal legendary odds which is 1/20.

 

Was hoping to get a shiny groudon but it’s totally pouring and I’m out of remote raid passes, welp.

I would if it was closer to me. I can't justify going up to NYC from FL atm lol. Hopefully next years will be a little closer.

8 Heracross raids today

 

Good haul! Am around 10 raids in so far, zero shines but 1 weather-boosted hundo! Heracross is so cool haha

 

I didn't even know there was an event

 

Buddy there is ALWAYS an event

 

Haven't seen any bug shinies, but I'm mostly just going to play this weekend for Mega Heracross

 

Mega Heracross not only looks great, but it’s also the #1 bug and #1 fighting Pokémon currently in the game.

 

I only got one shiny after a ton raids lol stats were okay though so I’m content. I did also find a shiny wurmple that wasn’t bad either.

 

Shiny Wurmple is one of my chases. GOAT bug line.

 

Would love to get the dustox version next, hoping it’ll be in raids during spring/summer
