I get absolute shit from my eggs

 

they need to fix battery saver mode as soon as they can. It's so annoying basically putting it on and praying that the game doesn't freeze up and you lose anything.

 

Used a lucky egg and evolved 14 Pokemon. Whatchu know bout me

Went on my bike around the neighborhood to catch some stuff. I went after a male Nidoran because I didn't have one yet but it made me miss out on an Ivysaur and I'm so pissed. I tried to turn around to go back to it but it disappeared.

Also my 10km turned out to be a Scyther which I already had (I got 20 candies with it though, that's weird) but my 2km hatched a Pikachu so I'm happy with that.

 

I evolved about a dozen pokes today, none of whom I powered up first, and they were all XS upon evolution. So it's possible that if you don't power them up initially, they turn out smaller.

(and size seems to correlate with hp)

 

Yeah tbh I knew I was wrong right after I posted haha. Just knew the rest was right.

 

eggs are still confusing to me. I hatched a Zubat from a 10, a bellsprout from a 5, and a squirtle from a 2. All this between levels 9 and 11

 

How many candies did the Zubat have?

 

Finally getting to the point where I can start evolving a couple Pokemon that aren't named Pidgey, Zubat, and Rattata. It feels good.

 

I'd love to see a map or see how the Pokemon are distributed around places. Here in Pittsburgh, it's primarily normal, flying, and poison types. But there are some water types around (presumably because of the rivers). Looking at my collection it's almost exclusively normal, flying, and poison.

 

eh, not that many. this town doesn't have much.
plus, the whole time i was at the mall it kept showing there was an Onix nearby but it didn't show up ONCE i'm mad

Get out to Frick Park. That's where I caught Squirtle, Pikachu, and some other more random ones.

I also think that the higher trainer level you become, the more diverse your wild pokemon become.

Where do you live in Pittsburgh? I live in Kennedy/Mckees Rocks and work in Robinson.

 

I want to know how close to the city you have to be to see Doduos. I've been in the city multiple times and haven't seen a single one, but I have friends who work DT and they're incredibly common.

 

I went out to South Park the other night but didn't find crap. Mostly Nidorans and Zubats. I'll have to try around other parts of the city. Downtown has a more diverse selection. I saw a few Squirtles on my tracker at work but didn't see any in person. I'm at level 10 now. So we'll see.

I live in Brookline, just south of the Liberty Tunnels. My sister lives out in McDonald and I grew up in Soith Fayette, so I'm familiar with your part of town. I work downtown, which is only 3 miles from my house... So my usual travel radius isn't huge right now unless I have work appointments or something.

 

My ex lived in Dormont for awhile and I'm pretty familiar with most of the city. I grew up in near the airport and went to West Allegheny. I work for Chipotle now and have to travel all over the city for meetings and what not.

I have eight eggs I still need to hatch and one of them is a 10k. Got a Shellder from one of my 5ks that had 40 candies with it, so that was nice.

 

Pretty happy with what I was able to accomplish today. I hatched that Bulbasaur at 414CP. Amazed.

 

Nice! I've caught like 4 or 5 bulbasaurs (cp20 or so) but I haven't even seen a single squirtle or charmander. Doesn't help that I haven't gotten shit from the four or five eggs I've hatched.

 

I've only recently seen Charmanders on my radar but haven't caught anything yet. I just want a Charizard
