Just spent like a million dust adding a move/powering up some top great league mons. Still need to optimize a few charge moves, but I never raid, so I’m out of TMs.

 

Played tier 1 premium, won 4/5, gotta walk more til I can play again

I’m still holding on to that 3 excellent throws in a row from Halloween. I suck at it

 

I can only do it on specific pokemon, I was really lucky to have a giraffigig nest at work when that was around

 

Magmar has a pretty big target too, got a few random excellent throws on them this past week.

 

i found a lifesaving workaround for this.

- in the encounter, turn on airplane mode.
- make the throw
- if excellent, turn off airplane mode and it will count. if not, close the game, turn off airplane mode, try again
- repeat

i amassed 15 Gollett i think during the Halloween event with this. unless it's been patched, in which case i dont think id have missed the reddit drama about it.

I’ve been trying this since then but I always mess up some how

 

I’ve been getting one on magmar then messing up. That’s where the I suck part comes in

 

Damn, I thought I was just going to be content doing the basic rewards track, but I tried premium for my 2nd time through and a charge TM for 1 win and 5(!!!) charge TMs for 4 wins may be too good to pass up.

 

@Oddpac87 are your mons you're winning with the ones with the proper great league iv spread? i have for example a 100 percent azumarill but idk if it's worth trying to fight with

 

My 100% Azumarill has been a beast in great league. He maxes out at 1497CP

They’re all pretty good for the most part. Altaria is the worst of what I’ve been using as my regular 3, but it certainly hasn’t felt noticeable in game.

 

how the fuck did you pull off a 21 percent jirachi?! haha

 

Those %s are what Poke Genie rates as it’s PVP IV %. That Jirachi is 14-11-14, 87% normal IVs.

Got the 3 excellent throws. Encountered Gollet. And it fled!!!! Checked my recent and it’s there. I’m telling you this game has been tripping out on me for a while now

Yeah I did premium today. Caught a Snorlax and got a charged TM.

I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't got a shiny Magikarp on this event. A ton of people in my groups have gotten at least 3 of them.
