anyone want to explain why I have seen a ton of Lairon's out during the event? Aron doesn't evolve in any special way

 

Besides like five four star friends, all 50+ of my friends currently have an unopened gift from me. This is a subtweet at the majority of this thread.

 

The gift trading part of this game is broken. Takes way too long to open and send gifts. I have 64 friends on my list and there is NO way I could ever, even if I wanted, trade gifts with 64 accounts every day. I don't trade gifts with Best Friends because there's no friendship level above it, what's the point?

I’m keeping all best friends in hopes of remote trading one day tbh haha

 

I truly think that will never happen, it would make the game worthless. There would be no reason to go out and find rare pokemon if you can get some rando on the internet to send it to you

 

the amount of gift giving reaching best friend requires makes me think it might become a perk of that level

 

maybe... I dunno, seems like something that would really ruin the main goal of the game which is real world interactions

 

best event spawns in a long time.

 

just so everyone knows, my wife and I got into a bit of a fight (we joke about this now so it’s okay that I’m talking about it), her first way to show me she was mad at me was by deleting me as a friend.

I’m only bringing this up because we were best friends and I was scared we were gonna have to restart everything when we became friends again after the fight was over. But, we didn’t. We maintained the best friend status lol

 

I would agree with this but since remote battling is a thing I would think that it wouldn’t be that far fetched of an idea that they made it possible one day if you reach lucky friend status with someone.

@irthesteve (and also @DerekIsAGooner) shouldn't you open my gifts so that we can become lucky friends at some point or you don't care?

I’m incredibly terrible at gifts on PoGo. I’ll work on making sure I open yours more often.

 

Past two days:

 

Just got 2 shinies back to back. A Gligar and a green Burmy.

 

All the Burmy I’m catching are barely 1 Star it’s getting annoying

 

I am very proud of my 0% Snorunt.

 

I guess luck is on my side, I got a shiny Onix this morning.

 

Yeah I had a pretty good weekend. Shiny Onix on Saturday and shiny Scyther from a reward yesterday.

 

no shinies from this event yet for me unfortunately

 

I got a shiny Ralts yesterday and as much as I hate to say this I wasn't all that excited because I got so many on community day.
