4PM today.

 

Gen 5 is the biggest gen in terms of new Pokemon (156). Gen 4 had around 100 new Pokes, with a lot of evolutions of old ones, legendaries and mythicals.

 

It helps that there are more of them. Gen 4 didn't actually have that many, whereas for Gen 5 they very deliberately created an entirely brand new Dex to try and recreate the Blue/Red feeling of discovering new Pokemon for the first time.

 

The damn monkeys are regional, lol. Why Heatmor and Durant would be in different regions is beyond me. Durant is Heatmor's food source.

 

Didn't think about that. That's pretty stupid lol.

 

I've never played Black/White so I know nothing about Gen 5 pokemon other than that some of them look like yu-gi-oh monsters.

 

I'd rather have Heatmor. That thing is so damn cool. Its got a fire tongue!

reminder that Deino is the pseudo legend and that it has the coolest chain. Go out of your way to catch them!

 

I was surprised to see it was in the first wave.

 

From the sounds of it, it looks to be the strongest DPS for dark types too. Hopefully we see it a little more than Gible. I'd love to use something other than T-Tar in every raid.

 

I hope so, I still don't have a Gible.

Haven’t seen a single gen 5 at my university
