Turtwig is one of my dearest fav Pokemon lines and September 15 is my bday. ive been stockpiling candy and high IV Turts in preparation for months. very ready to get day drunk af and do the thing.

Damn, next Safari Zone event is in Montreal, which is 2.5 hours away from me!

 

that it's one of my favorites? i drastically prefer pokemon that are based on animals or mythology and have natural evolution progressions. Ivysaur was my first ever fav. guess i got a thing for grass mons with stuff on their backs. Torterra is one of my very fav designs

 

What exactly happens at those?

Those events take place in a park (Parc Jean-Drapeau in this case) and there are special spawns in the park, normally with a couple regionals that don’t appear there normally and Unown. There’s also a ton of Pokestops and gyms created for the duration of the event that give special field research tasks and a lot of activities that are Pokemon related. For this event, the promo picture shows Tropius, Unown, Ninjask and a bunch of fast Pokemon like Ponyta and Flygon.

It ain’t free though, but I don’t know the cost.

going to be honest I just avoid the team rocket grunts at all cost now it’s so boring

 

Stardust is such a commodity in this game that I actually go the exact opposite route and try to hit every single one of them I see. Getting 500 stardust and a chance at catching some pretty decent stuff seems worth it to me.

I'm so jealous. My wife just recently got back into the game and that was the first shiny she got since she started.

I did hatch a shiny Cleffa last night so that was nice.

Yeah I really don’t get it. I’m pretty much on this game all the time and I have only ever gotten like 6 shinies that weren’t on community day. I must just have terrible luck.
