is there a way to count your steps without actually having your phone?

I can’t have my phone in my work because warehouse and it sucks soooo much because I at least walk 5 miles a day. I need this dragonite but it will take forever.

 

Apple or android? If apple, you can sync the health app with an Apple Watch and adventure sync. It may work with a fitness tracker that syncs to the health app but I don’t know about that. Also know nothing about android

the steps from the pedometer in your phone work too. even if you don't get service in the warehouse, just keep your phone in your pocket and itll count the steps that way if Adventure Sync is on

 

the thing is I don't want to take my phone in the warehouse. My phone is very big and I wear gym shorts because super hot so the pockets aren't the best.

 

Got a shiny sunkern. Still nothing with ekans or koffing.

 

I did 13 Team Rocket battles during the hour event. Every catchable Pokemon was from either the Zubat or Rattata lines. My daughter did get a Charmander and Ivysaur though.

 

I'm kinda over the Team Rocket stuff already. I don't think its really that rewarding. Give me gen 5.

 

Cristen got a shiny Houndour today and I'm so jealous :(

 

it's got its perks. the guaranteed +2/+2/+2 to IVs is great. im doing every shadow Dratini i can to get ones with good IVs so i can get a bunch of Draco Meteor Dragonite next time they do the big all Community Day Weekend again. Frenzy Plant Venasaur and Blast Burn Charizard are also good so am happy to get shadow Bulbasaurs and Charamders as well

I'm def excited to see how they expand on it

 

I've caught 33 shadow Pokemon since the Rocket stuff launched. they have been:

Bulbasaur x5
Ivysaur x1
Charmander x5
Squirtle x2
Rattata x7
Raticate x1
Zubat x4
Golbat x3
Snorlax x1
Dratini x4

from my sample size, bats and rats are most common but not by an unhealthy amount. reasonable spread.

 

Is it random which Pokémon is the one that you get to rescue?

 

it's always one of the three you battle

 

I just used it to farm up dratini candy for my 96% iv dragonair

 

Looks like the rocket spawns might be gone? Koffing etc

 

Still seeing a bunch.

 

Now I do again, must have just been a momentary chance of mine around

 

@Henry THIS is why Team Rocket is great. gyms and raid bosses everywhere are cowering.

 

good lord Universal is amazing but why is there a gift limit this sucks
