Okay. I’ve been wanting to battle again because of the new system so I’m pretty much down any night I check on here and see it.

 

lmao shadow pokemon cant be traded anymore, and the .1 update that came out recently reintroduced old bugs. imagine if devs better than Niantic and Game Freak got to make Pokemon games.

 

Team Rocket is back and much more common but still on 30 minute timers

 

Special research is live as well.

 

Does anyone know if sponsored Pokestops can become Team Rocket stops?

 

I missed two rocket stops this morning because that timer fucking sucks

 

got my shit kicked in by two snorlax and a dragonite from a rocket trainer. i had two maxed Machamps and tried multiple other things in the third slot. would've gotten either a shadow snorlax or dragonite for it. feels fuckin bad

 

Yeah. Reports on Reddit are that these fights are impossibly difficult. You also need to a Master League team set up to pick anything over 1500CP to battle with. I haven't done any yet myself, but I can see this being discouraging to new/returning players that the previous special research targeted.

 

just maxed a mamoswine to see if that gets me there. it was close a couple of times. hope i get another shot on lunch break

 

The Team Rocket stuff doesn't sound fun according to the posts in here lol

 

it's a good foundation for good future stuff but the currently available shadow pokemon aren't super enticing

Gotcha. I don't understand much of how it works since i can't really play much these days. Do you get to keep shadow Pokes forever or do they have to be purified? I could look it up but you're here so

you have the option to keep as a shadow but they cost a tremendous amount to power up in that form whereas purified they cost less than a regular mon and also gain 2 points in each stat, so the only perk to keeping them as a shadow is for collection's sake

 

Yeah I'd only want them for the collection haha

 

I purified a Charmander and feel very alive
