Played for about an hour and a half. Got 4 shinies. Out of all the 100+ mudkip I caught, not a single one was above 1 star

 

Because of the heat, my daughters and I played Parking Lot Go at Valley Forge and then did some hunting at the mall. I got 7 shinies and a 0% regular, my daughters got 7and 6 shinies each.

 

we also did the mall because of heat and the spawns were great and there were a TON of people playing. wound up with 9 shinies, two of which were 89 and 90 percent

 

All the stops were lured and someone put the snow lure on one, so I was able to evolve my shiny Eevee to Glacion. It was funny watching the gyms flip every few minutes too.

 

however here is the real winner of the day

 

My wife, who only plays like once every few months, just opened the app with 10 minutes left and the first two mudkip were shiny. I’m gonna appraise them in a minute and I’m already betting they are probably high iv

 

my sister who only plays because her boyfriend wants her to play with him caught 8 shiny.

I only got 5 shiny but they were all garbage. It seemed like most of the Mudkip I got just weren’t very good.

 

I caught four from my couch. Also hatched a 100% Buizel.

 

Drove back in time from Comic Con to catch a shiny Mudkip before the event ends. Aww yiss.

 

Caught 4 today and saw a TON of people playing at Comic con, crazy stuff

I’ve been so out of the loop that I only played a few minuets during CD and didn’t get a shiny, but I just finished my first research breakthrough in like a month and got a shiny Latias!!!

Seems like Team Rocket is live. A stop that has team rocket looks a bit darker.

 

I work in downtown and we have about 75 stops visible from my desk and none are darker so I don’t know if it’s live
