Hey @LessThanTrevor we become ultra friends tomorrow. I’ll send you a gift tomorrow before community so you can open mine too. I saw we are about to become ultra friends and wanna make sure you can get double xp from me as well.

(I’ll make sure not to let my 3 year old open gifts before then because I almost just opened while just going through gifts and actually noticed we were about to hit ultra friends which I rarely do because I’m bad at this game)

 

I've never cracked a lucky egg when opening gifts and I'm really bad about sending and opening gifts myself since I too have a 15 month old and work full time. Life first. Catch 'em all second.

 

I have an hour and 14 minute layover between flights tomorrow as my only community day window, fingers crossed I can snag a shiny or three

 

Niantic got me to buy the community box to clear out these 10kms with the reduced egg distance today because i have N O S P I N E

 

Well, there is a good chance there effectively won't be a community day at this point. Weather has been down for hours. No weather = no event spawns. Europe got about an hour before it went down. Tasks aren't showing up either. Don't know how it will effect egg distance.

Well if there is a community day I don’t think I’m going to be able to participate. It’s just me and my son today and heat index is like 103. I don’t think I can subject him to that.

I also looked at how many slakoth candy I have and it is somehow 226. I don’t know how that’s possible when I’ve only ever seen and caught 10.

 

You must have hatched a bunch of those!

I’ll be out during CD so if it works I’m fine and if it doesn’t at least I have other things to do. Hope it gets a make up day.

 

Update: layover is now only gonna be 40 min ahhhh

 

Weather is back, so the spawns should be working when CD starts (crosses fingers). Sucks for the players in Europe who got screwed over though.

I ended up with six shinies, including one level one with high IVs which is one of my favorite kind of collectible. Overall a pretty good day.
