My daughter got relatively bad IVs on hers, so we swapped. Both are now lucky. Mine was 15/14/15, prior to the trade (it didn't go down much for her). This one is 14/12/12.

I just started trading with my friends, is there any way to ensure you get high IVs in the trade? All I've found out so far is if you trade 2 high IV Pokémon, they will become bad or average for the other person.

I am such a dipshit. I completley forgot that one of the perks for this event was incubators working faster and stuck like four 7k eggs in super incubators and two 10k eggs in super incubators this morning.

Sometimes......I'm really bad at this game.

 

if you’re a higher friendship level, say best friends, it will make it so that the IV’s can only be so bad, say 80%. In other words an 80% IV would be the lowest you could get when trading with a best friend.

Yea, don't really know what they're trying to avoid with such a low bottom. I did like 5 trades in a day recently and we're ultra friends, the IVs stayed about the same (70s) for the most part. So basically it only changed when we tried to trade 2 Pokémon with good IVs.

Yea, I don't mean that part. I mean like, why so low? Like if you're trying to get a good IV they don't have to become completely useless. If you care about that stuff anything below 70 is probably gonna get transferred anyway.

 

I completely understand the reasoning behind IV rerolls because people could just absolutely stock pile 100% Pokemon and it wouldn't be too fair, but I think a better fix would have been maybe making it a +/- 10% reroll. The other day I traded someone a 96% IV Pokemon and it rerolled to like 40%. I can't remember exactly what it was, but I remember it being something relatively useful for the other person and it really just kind of made trading less fun when that happened.
