Finished up with 4-5 shiny Castform and one Lotad each. Did a shitload of tasks, rates seemed realllll low. but the one shiny Lotad i got was a 98%

 

Yeah, the IVs were fantastic on most of mine.

 

not sure if you’re already aware but research encounters have a higher IV floor than regular encounters, think the lowest you can get is 70% or something like egg hatches are

I can in about ten minutes. Been out hunting shiny Lotad.

10 shiny Castform. ONE Lotad. Must have done like 50 research tasks.

 

7 Castform and 5 Lotad for me so far, best luck I’ve had in a while.

Just saw this. Whenever you want is cool. Yeah I caught 76 Lotads today and only got 2 shinys. Caught 8 shiny castform though.

 

Only been able to play for 1 hour and a half. Got 3 shiny Castform and 1 Lotad.

 

Yeah I just counted and it was 54 Lotad, so similar odds for me. And we can battle now if you want.

 

I thought I was unlucky but seeing your numbers, I'm not too bad with my 1/29.

What I hated was that while I was playing the weather changed and it took 30 minutes until I started seeing spawns for the new weather so all the weather-boosted quests were hard to do for a while.

On another note, I kind of wish they would implement a part of community day where if you give your Pokémon (like one that’s been evolved from before the event) a new attack it would be guaranteed the exclusive move during the community day window.

Would love to give my maxed out Salamence the exclusive move.
