Sorry I just accepted it now, just got home

 

Weird there were raids starting at 8:30-9PM here tonight. We never got raids after 7 PM

 

That was a weird sequence of events. Like I accepted a battle invite from you and then it started and then just blacked out

 

I don’t know I think something might be up with my app

 

I saw some reports of that on reddit too

 

I think they were getting a lot of complaints about people not having time and wanted to start accommodating. It makes a lot of sense. I think their biggest concern is people going into public places that aren't open after certain times.

 

Does anyone else notice that raids are more prominent super early in the day? Whenever I drive to work at 6:45, I always see raids (mostly non legendary too so I could do them myself) but I’m always late so I never am able to stop. So I’m totally all about extended raid hours.

 

I usually wake up around 7 and all three of the ones near my house are always active.

 

I pass three or four gyms on my drive to work every morning. I leave my house at 6:30am at there's almost always at least one raid happening at one of those gyms. I never have enough time to stop and do one, though. I'd be shocked if anyone is raiding at one of those gyms before 7:00am.

 

Yeah, my app was acting really funky last night. I think it might have been my service. Verizon has gotten service back up and running here pretty well, but even 6 months after the storm we still have days where it doesn't work. So, I'm not sure if it was an app or connection issue last night, but I know it was the first time in a while I was unable to get my 3 battles for the day in lol

 

It could have been your service but honestly I was out and about and multi-tasking last night while we were trying to battle so it could have been a speed cap for when I was in the car and then just poor timing with sending/accepting an invite.

I hope people start playing more with summer coming because right now it's very difficult to get people to do raids around here :/

 

For me, raiding is just kind of monotonous. Like I’ve done a ton of legendary raids but I’m a pretty introverted person so it takes a lot of pumping myself up to even go meet up with my raid group. It could be that they’re all so different from me haha and idk I always feel obligated to stick around and shoot the shit and make small talk.

 

I’m the guy that sits in his car away from everyone and texts in the discord chat. I feel bad but it’s so hard for me to talk to people in real life

 

I used to be the guy who didn't talk to anyone, but working in a restaurant has helped me come out of my shell.

 

I would do this but it’s a small, tight-knit group in a really small town. If it was a bigger group I totally would though, when I was living in the city when raiding first came out it was no big deal because we were too busy rushing to the next raid to chat haha.
