you can collect coins the moment you control a gym, but then you cant collect again for 20 hours

 

It's getting ridiculous now. I've had the gym issue, pidgeys & weedles with <100cp busting out of ultra balls (with spin on them) and 3 lures in a row with just the same 5 or 6 basics I always get. I'd kill for a Sandshrew or Cubone to pop up just ONCE.

You're holding guns? you can have all the coins you want when you want!!!

 

I've been putting Weedles and shit in gyms right after people beat them. the troll.

 

How do you collect then? I just put a couple of different Pokemon at a couple gyms and didn't see any option for it

you have to click on the shop or coin option and in the top right corner theres a shield that you click on that gives them to you

 

I have 2 pokemon over 1000 now, but they're just Flareon and Vaporeon. Wish I had somethin' a little rarer.

 

There's a Dodrio and that evolved snake dude somewhere in my office but I can't find them.

 

Not the San Francisco map. I guarantee you there is not a Snorlax where it shows there being one literally 24 hours a day as I go by the exact spot at least 2 times daily. How do you see the real-time spawn locations?

 

I've been too greedy recently. I have been battling gyms like crazy and have 20 Pokemon that need to be revived and about the same number of Pokemon that need potions. I used to have more revives and potions that I discarded dozens of them, and now I need them in the worst way.

 

What's the highest gym level you have come across? I usually take the gym at my work once a day just to collect. It never stays one color too long but it is currently being defended by 6 Pokemon all over 1200CP. I don't think anyone is taking it today

 

Pidgey, Weedle, Caterpie, and Rattata are the ones you really should keep catching. Evolving Pokémon gives you 500 XP (1000 on a Lucky Egg!) This is the quickest way to level up. Catch every goddamn one of these things you can and then use them to level up on a Lucky Egg when you get one.

I routinely attack gyms that have 3-7 spots filled. A lot of them have pokemon that are all 1000+ CP. I just like to play spoiler. I am sure many people see the high gyms and think "no need to waste my effort there", but I like to think that why should they feel so protected and sure they will be fine lol.

 

Yeah, I've seen gyms where the lowest is like 1400 and the highest is like 2300 or something ridiculous like that.

 

Gyms in San Francisco are insane. I saw one where the lowest Pokémon was a 1900 Vaporeon, 2 2300+ Gyarados, then it had like 4 Dragonites over 2600 which is just ridiculous. I thought the Gym would never fall.

 

Yeah, a lot of gyms around me have high CP Dragonites. A lot of people capitalized on the over saturation of Dratini in their areas. Sadly, I hardly had any around me. Plenty of Psyduck, Eeevee, Magikarp, Pinser, Oddish, and Staryu (of the more uncommon Pokemon). Of course I am inundated with hordes of Pidgey and Rattata that I wish would disappear from existence.

 

These are all my casualties from the past couple of days. Not pictured are the dozen or so Pokemon in various stages of HP loss.

 

If I was stronger I would go for it. I usually just steal the gym and leave something extremely low as the turnover is high anyway and I'm just looking to collect. I never really have time to take any other gyms so I just get 10 coins a day here

 

There is this one street with about five churches on it by me that hardly has any traffic on it unless its after work hours, so I can often get some decent coins there. Three of the churches are gyms and there is one abandoned building that used to be a Veterans Hall that has one too.

 

Yesterday I had a CP1300+ Clefable, a CP870 Growlithe, and a ??? Dragonite all run on me. Hard times for sure.

 

So close. But so far.

 

Wow. That Growlithe is high. Mines like 500 something at the top of its arc
