That might be the case. The whole thing is a little confusing. We'll see this coming weekend, I guess.

 

I have a friend with a switch, but not the game. My friends and I have contemplated pitching in to buy the game with him BUT we could only get one box every 7 days, and we don't see each other every 7 days, so for the most part.... it'll still take forever.

I haven’t really looked into it but could you transfer a random Pokémon to my game and get the box? If so I could let you know when I get to a point where we could try and you could claim the box that way.

 

this is my understanding as well. in a half hour span I caught like 9 Meltans and pinapped them all, so, in like 7 weeks i will have 400 candies lol

 

Nothing like a random shiny Eevee encounter to brighten up the day!

I had terrible luck during Eevee CD and I still don't have a shiny Umbreon. Now I'll get to fix that.

Playing Let’s Go and walking one of the routes and some guy comes strolling past me and it was Mr. Mime. Legitimately startled me.

Edit: I’ve since taken him out of his pokeball and now he follows me around and it’s even creepier.

 

Mr. Mime has always been a creep, but the one in the Detective Pikachu trailer takes the cake.

 

BTW noticed that Sabrina's Mr. Mime was male in Pokemon Let's Go which is disappointing

Do yourself a favor and make Wigglytuff your walking buddy. He just floats around like you're pulling a balloon behind you. It's hilarious.

 

Transferred my red Gyarados into the game too. Feels cool to use him in a way that’s not just button mashing.
