i always crash when loading my friends screen, i also usually have to wait around 1-2 minutes on an empty map before anything loads or pops up when opening the app fresh. ios user.

this game just cannot figure out how to get rid of the small kinks.

 

I feel like it used to run very well for a good period of time, but since the gifts/trading update it's been much worse.

 

Mine runs terrible on android too

 

It often crashes when opening my profile or scrolling too fast in friends list.

 

The only time my game has ever crashed is when I'm looking through the friends list. Other than that it runs fine.

 

heads up for the weekly challenges, it's too late for this week, but it seems that the week "starts" at 9am local time on Mondays. IF you hit the 25k, you will get a 5K egg if you have an open slot at that time. If you hit 50k walking, you get a 5K and a 10K if you have two open egg slots. I think it's two eggs and not one or the other, can't figure that out yet

 

I was 0.7 km away from the 25km reward. I'm disappointed. But that was for 3 days so I'm confident I can reach the 50km in a week.

 

Yeah I joined a local discord and posted in there about being there right at the time and it sounds like a good amount are doing it thankfully

 

whats the etiquette for waiting around at a raid for someone's friend to show up?

i happened upon a Giratina last night at around 6pm, when I came upon it there were like 9 people there, 35 mins or so remaining on the timer. One person kept telling the group we needed to wait bc her friend was on the way. I'm usually fine with waiting, as people have waited for me before, and another person won't hurt, but, we were all standing around for like 25 minutes for this persons friend, and it was getting cold. Nobody else was saying anything so I didn't want to be that dick, but, idk i feel like 10-15 minutes max is an appropriate amount of time to ask people to wait. i just thought it kind of rude to hold people up for a half hour bc your friend was taking their time.

fortunately they showed up and we all got the giratina.

Last week we were at a raid and were waiting for my friend who was 10 minutes away, but then a guy joined us and said he needed to do it now, so everyone started it and my friend couldn't do it.

 

Yep this is beyond annoying. Idk why people from our group let people who never raid with us call shots on anything.

10-15 minute wait time is fair enough for me. There have been a couple times where I was like 3 minutes away and they didn't want to wait. More often than not they will wait though.

People who just swoop in and demand to go in are the worst for sure.

 

Oh he is a regular raider around here, but I think it sucks mostly because my friend confirmed her presence way before he did, and she doesn't have Giratina yet while he has plenty. But because he saw the raid while passing by and didn't have time to wait, she couldn't do it.
