If the weather stays the same until 4 PM, I'll have a weather boosted Mewtwo raid.

 

I did 6 Lugia raids this morning. We encountered 3 shinies total with about 15 people per raid.

 

Weather changed to sunny as soon as Mewtwo hatched :/

 

Picked this game back up a little bit this past week and have had some weirdly good luck.

Snatching up all of the Swablus I can lately and ended up getting a shiny one today (terrible IVs though so I probably won't evolve him). Then I hatched my first Gen 3 egg which happened to be an Azurill - apparently those have been somewhat rare for people. Kind of fell off towards getting my last Gen 2 guys, but I caught a wild Forretress yesterday which was one I still needed.

 

Just caught my first Mewtwo from my first EX Raid (that I could attend). I was so nervy after he knocked away 2 out of the first 3 balls I threw. Luckily, it's really easy to get an excellent curveball on a Mewtwo.

 

This double stardust event is pretty dope.

 

I didn't even realize that we were getting double stardust right now. I'm so used to transferring away everything I don't need so quickly I haven't been paying attention to what I get from each catch.

Does anyone know if we get any XP boosts during Community Day tomorrow? I have some stuff saved up to evolve, and if we have an XP boost tomorrow that would be perfect.

 

I think we only get triple XP for Bulbasaur catches.

 

I think that's still good enough of a reason to pop and egg + burn an incense and do some evolving in between catching Bulbasaurs.

 

Two shiny Bulbas so far

 

Caught 8 shiny. None that great of quality though. Did however evolve my 100iv Ivysaur and now have a perfect Venusaur with that special move.

 

Didn’t get any shiny

 

One Shiny, only 124cp but still cool.

Finally got my Tyranitar and an Altaria.

 

Barely was able to play during the event. But finally got enough candies to evolve my first Venosaur!

 

Was only able to play for 1 hour, but got two (not very good) shinies and enough candies to evolve 1 shiny Venusaur and a 96% normal one.

was able to walk out of yesterday with a 100% IV Venasaur, 6 shinies, and a Lugia. logged < 7 miles, my fitbit stats love these days.

also living a few blocks from a massive tech college guarantees some insane raid groups

 

hot damn that research thing seems cool.

Man, this is exactly what the game has needed since day 1. Guess I'll be back out full force playing it in hopes of getting a Mew.

 

I'm excited to see if I'll continue doing that everyday after I get Mew.

 

i'm trying to hang on to resources like healing items and raid passes until Friday now so i get more out of using them, but i want a shiny Lugia dammitttt

 

i am interested in anything that progresses the gameplay beyond raids being the only real thing to do. I'm so stale on this game and raids as a whole.
