There was a huge Magikarp nest in my city a month ago, but it didn't give me any shiny :(

 

Woooooo when you hatch that Sudowodo 10k for a billion useless candy!!

 

I feel like a complainer but I really wish the double candy events didn't coincide with the influx of three or four Pokemon each time. I can't utilize the double candy to catch up on things I need because all I can catch is Ghastly and Shuppet. All I can do is keep hatching.

 

Caught this tonight while trick or treating with my kids. My first Pokemon Go shiny`!

 

FYI, the Legendaries switched over. Just did my first Suicune raid but didn't catch it unfortunately.

 

Waiting for one to pop near work.

 

2 for 2 on Suicune so far.

 

Haven't tried a Suicune raid yet. It's raining in here :/

 

Tougher to take down than Entei.

 

Yeah Entei was pretty easy to take down. Suicune is only Water right?

 

Yup, only water. Most effective against it has been Zapdos, Raikou, Venusaur, and Vileplume. Ampharos is apparently a good choice as well, but I haven't used either of mine since they both have Focus Blast.

 

Finally got a phone that can play this - is it worth getting now so long after it came out or is it still fun for a beginner?

 

Yeah now wouldn't be a bad time having new raid bosses, along with Gen 3 coming soon.

 

I thought Pokemon Go would be already updated for the iPhone X since they advertised it when announcing ARKit. Bummer.

 

Pretty sure i’ll never get Cleffa or Mewtwo.

 

Pretty sure I'll never get Magby. My friend got Magby 15 times before getting Elekid, and I got Elekid 15 times and don't have Magby lol

Mewtwo is still in beta testing, so I'm confident we will get more opportunities in the future.

 

There’s gotta be some kind of algorithm for egg hatching. Took me almost a 9 months to get Tyrogue and now I hatch them constantly.

 

Yeah I agree, this same thing happened to me.

 

Yeah can't tell if we just notice these things more or what, but I'm pretty sure I went months before hatching a Cleffa and then hatched three in a row. Probably hatched like 7 total now.

 

I need to get Cleffa before the full gen 3 launch or i’m screwed. The odds will just be that much worse. Stupid Cleffa.

Edit: Nvm found it. While i'm happy to get more XP, this event is lame as hell. They have less than half the players they did last year, but last year's Thanksgiving event they just gave us the bonus XP anyways. 1.5 billion catches means 7.5 million players need to catch 200 Pokemon each in a week. That's if there are still 7.5 million players in the middle of November. Maybe California is nice to play in right now, but New York is pretty cold. I highly doubt Farfetch'd will get released this way. (Also a lame Pokemon to begin with)

 

I finally got the evolution item for Porygon, after months of spinning pokestops every day to get 7 days streaks!

Saw this. Still pretty annoying they're limiting Ex Raids to Parks and Sprints/Starbucks. While there are a lot of gyms in my immediate area, only 1 is a park, and the closest sprint/starbucks that are gyms are about 40 minutes away in Albany.
