A bit of a dilemma as to what to walk... do I just power through the whole event with Dratini and get from 70 candies to close to a Dragonite... or walk 5 or 6 other lesser things to enough. Tough call.

 

Definitely in the same boat. I'm 13 candies from a Dragonite, but it makes far more sense to switch to my Porygon where I still need 50 (or Kabuto and 47 -- guess it depends on its spawn rate in the event) to try and accelerate the process.

 

Definitely the 5 or 6 other things, no debate.

 

I'm 1.5k away from hatching a 10k. If it's a Dratini I could realistically get a Dragonite by the end of this event which is something I never thought I would accomplish in this game.

 

Turned the app on at work and a Houndoom spawned at the closest Pokestop. Haven't even caught a Houndour yet so this is cool.

Rock event is also awesome. I was currently walking Graveler but i'm gonna switch over to something more rare. Hoping by the end of this i'll have Golem , Steelix, Omastar, (and if i'm really lucky) Pupitar/Tyranitar.

 

If I ever overhear someone saying "yeah, I designed the system that produces Mantine eggs" I will slap them in the teeth. I have 155 candies.

 

Also got Politoed and Granbull today thanks to Pinapples woop.

 

I have 320 Murkrow candy. NO shame.

 

Thank GOD. I can finally make up some ground on the 28 Dratini candies I need. Hopefully (from that photo) I can finally get an Aerodactyl as well.

I managed to catch a single Chansey during the pink event and a single Lapras during the water event. Hopefully I can repeat that here.

 

My 10Ks since Gen 2 dropped:

Miltank, Chansey, Lapras, Snorlax, Dratini, Mareep x2, Pineco x2, Larvitar.

I have escaped the curse but obviously just jinxed myself.

 

Was hoping for fire next but I'll take the candy for sure!

 

Everything I need is only obtainable through eggs so I'm just a little miserable

238 is the current max pokedex if you have everything correct? Including everything overseas?

 

Correct. 235 is the highest possible in the continental US without overseas travel, 233 in all the other regions, if I read Silph Road correctly awhile back.

 

Crossed off Flaaffy and Magcargo last night, so that was 5 new pokemon in total. That's more progress than I made Jan-April. Currently sitting at 211 caught.

 

Finally got my damn Crobat.

 

Oh my god man, I feel you on such an emotional and personal level, except my issue is 100% with Gligar. I walked like 5 miles around my city and hatched two consecutive Gligars. I've hatched close to ten of the little bastards. Caught my first one right when gen 2 launched so I wasn't even excited about the first one that hatched.
