Yeah it's done. I'm seeing 9 Swinubs on my radar at a time again.

 

Well, that was a really enjoyable event! Caught around 20 Lapras' using live maps, and caught enough Magikarp to evolve my first Gyarados and evolve a second one! Good stuff.

 

I never saw a single Lapras, but I finally got my Dewgong, and that's enough for me. Top five favorite from childhood.

 

I did catch a Lapras that was just chilling outside my house. Still didn't get enough Magikarp... I was able to add at least 10 new pokémon that I had never even seen in the wild though!

I'll be at the aquarium for my birthday on Friday so maybe I'll be able to round out some evolutions that I didn't quite make it to.

 

Got my Octillery today before the event ended!

 

Got a dragon scale on my 7-day today and evolved a Kingdra for 210/210. Now to wait another 7 days to (hopefully!) add another dex entry! This water event was underwhelming for me tbh as I only saw 2 totodile the whole time (on 24 candies atm).

 

Ended up evolving my second Gyrados last night. I finally have a half decent one with 91% IVs, Bite/Crunch moveset

 

I'm starting to think I'll never get a Lapras, but I'm happy with my Gyrados thanks to the event. I'd never seen a nest of Magikarp before

 

Back to Natu, Snubbull, and Houndour. Ugh

 

Haven't seen even a hint of a Houndour yet! would love for there to be increases in variation for spawns fairly soon like there seemed to be for gen.1 - I have nothing I can "grind for" atm beyond walking buddies one at a time and searching for shiny Magikarp, but still need 30 dex entries!

 

Yeah snubbull and houndour are not common for me. Still haven't seen a houndour.

 

No Snubbull for me and only 4 or 5 Houndours. Seems like random things are just MIA around here. I hit a wall really quick with available Gen 2 guys.

 

Yeah I'm already limited to the neighbourhood trash. Everyone once and a while I see a Hoppip and feed it all my yellow berries.

 

Um... why do all of my eggs say "May 15, 2016" beneath them? Lol....

 

Same thing here. Weird.

 

It's a bug they've yet to fix, I think. Especially considering the game hadn't even launched then.

 

Came to Orlando. Caught a heracross

 

I'm hoping to get some stuff i haven't seen yet. There a lot of stops?
