Got Slowking today after hatching an 82% IV Slowpoke, 196/196 now. 99% of pokes I've found with IV's above 80% have been egg hatches. Also it's hilarious how much I care about IV's now after not giving a fuck until one week ago...

 

I could evolve my Slowpoke and Poliwag right now if I could get the right items for them. On the upside though, I caught a wild Ursaring so that's pretty cool.

Yup. I've spun an ungodly amount of stops since Gen 2 came out. Only one evolution item to show for it.

 

I'm glad the items are very rare. Would be lame if they weren't.

 

I've gotten 3 total I believe. Porygon2, Steelix and Politoad so far.

 

I agree, but THIS rare is a bit much. 1 out of 1000+ spins? That's a bit extreme

 

Maybe I'm biased because I got one on my 2nd stop after the update

 

Read something that said you have like a 0.014% chance of getting an evolution item

 

Having not gotten Poliwrath yet but inching ever closer...i'm stuck choosing between that and Politoed.

pinap berries are the best thing this game has introduced to date

Yeah those berries have taken a ton of the grind out of this game. A little more strategy involved when you go around catching stuff because you have to decide if it's worth it to use a Pinap on certain things. Then, if you use it unsuccessfully, you have to make the decision on whether or not to try ANOTHER one.

 

Love Pinap berries. Really helping me cut down on some of the ones I never see like Abra, Geodude, and Machop.

I've gotten two dragon scales. I've got Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Gloom, and Sunkern ready to evolve whenever I get those items. Long way to go on my Chansey, Onix, and Porygon candies.

 

I have every single evolution ready if I had the items for them, I think that's what bugs me the most.... the ability to, but not the items to. Anxiously awaiting an event with "increased evolve item drops"

 

If anyone's near NYC, a TON of Chikoritas in Central Park. Got my Meganium pretty quickly with some pinaps.

 

Same. Kinda sucks tbh. I have had 2 day 7 spins and the second one didn't give me an item.

 

Yep, my only item was from the first 7 day, then zippo. Oooooh well, just gotta keep grindin for now it seems

 

Just caught my first Dunsparce and it's relatively weak it seems, but it looks like a Pokémon meant to evolve?

Mine is pretty weak, too.

 

There are some deadset useless Pokemon in this generation and Dunsparce is the poster boy for that

 

There seems to be an awful lot of pokemon this generation that don't evolve. I'm already passing up 99% of the pokes I see because there's just no need for me to catch them, And its been like 2 weeks since gen 2 came out. I'm passing up Mantines ffs, the snorlax of the sea!
