Haha yeah I'm right there with you. If you appraise your Pokémon and it's like wow what a breathtaking Pokémon this thing is a wonder etc., then it should be like at least 80% I think. Makes it easier to decide which ones to import to pokegenie.

 

Downloaded Pokegenie and it's pretty cool but honestly I'm skeptical... How do they judge IV from a screenshot?

 

Same as the other IV calculators, it's done from a combination of the CP, HP, amount of stardust it takes to power up, whether it's been powered up before, and I think there's a couple other factors too.

Honeslty that's all I get in my normal suburban area, maybe a few surprises here and there. Got most of my work done in NYC this week, where I was for the most part. Took 90 min lunches and went to town haha.

 

What part of NY did you find to be best? I'm going into the city tomorrow and have some time to kill.

My very first Dratini I ever caught has been the only 100% I've ever gotten. Too bad I'm still 40 candies away from turning him into a Dragonite.

I snagged my first Totodile today! Have yet to see a Cyndaquil. And the person who got the Unown today, gah that rules.

 

I have a perfect Crobat and a perfect Vaporeon.

 

ooh nice, is Crobat pretty good?

 

I only come across less than 1 gym a week that's worth fighting or training so I doubt I'll ever use it.

 

Just got a notification when I opened the app that explained what Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries were...except they had the two switched. This company has trouble doing much correctly. haha.

Guess complaining still works. The watch app started working for me and I saw a different gen 2 Pokémon

 

A 98% Rhydon is my best IV so far. Almost every Pokemon I catch goes into Poke Genie now and I weigh that a lot more than CP when deciding which to keep and evolve. I also put their IV next to their name to help me keep track.

Got an evo item day 1 and none since.

 

You can usually get a pretty good guess of the IV just by using the appraisal thing that's already in the game.
