Got an evo item on the 7 day stop. Only have had 2 new berries though.

 

Finally got Steel Coat and got my Steelix. Coincidentally it was at a lured Pokestop.

 

I got Steel Coat on my 7th day spin at a Pokestop too. Got my Scizor!

 

If all goes well, tomorrow I'll catch a ton of new stuff. Pokedex currently at 180.

 

Oh crap forgot you could you use it on Scyther as well. They were much more powered up than my Onix...oh well.

 

The "starters" from this generation have been way more common this time around, it seems like. Grabbing so many Chikoritas and a handful of Totodiles. Haven't seen a Cyndaquil yet though.

 

I still haven't caught/seen anything outside of the painfully common.

 

No starters here. Haven't seen shit, really. On campus there is a bunch, but I'm not there often enough.

 

Haven't seen the starters. Only really seen Snubbulls, Murkrow, sentret, and Houndour. Every once in a while a hoothoot, sunkern, or slugma pop up.

 

Been using my Pinap berries on starters so I already have like 60 Chikorita candies.

Haha. Pinap berries give you more candy when you use one on a Pokémon and successfully catch it. Chikorita is one of the Pokémon that you can start out with in Gen 2.

 

Heading to Austin, TX this afternoon. Hopefully I'm able to grab some good stuff being in a major city. St. Louis and Atlanta have kind of been busts for me every time I've been there.

 

I'm currently at 40/80 (including babies). Got a lot over the weekend.

Oh lmaoo yeah I was kinda confused and surprised because you seem like you've been in the thread since the beginning. But yeah Chikorita's haven't been too uncommon around here.

 

Working in NYC a little bit this week, hopefully I can catch a ton there while I'm walking.

 

Let me know if you have any luck. Last time I was there there was nothing special. Caught maybe two magikarp. Although my city is a major city and there isn't shit here either.

For sure. I feel like people who don't live in a major city think of them as being nothing but rare stuff. In reality, it's just that there's way more volume so if you play enough you're bound to get something good.

Already have no use for 2KM eggs. Thankfully they didn't change back the ratios on egg distribution.

 

I've asked this question a couple of places and never gotten a clear answer... Tyrogue can be hatched from 5k eggs, but is that the only way you can get him? Has anyone caught them in the wild or can you ONLY hatch them because they are babies?
