I honestly, naively have no idea about Gen 2. Actually, is there a gen 3?

I plan to post my catches and have you avid Pokémon players let me know if it's guuuuud.

I am having so much fun with this game with all these new ones. I don't know jack about them, either.

 

Up to Gen 7 now in the video games/anime/card game.

 

Just had a Sentret transform into a Ditto lol

 

I'm pretty sure it's only for Porygon

 

I have hit like 50 stops today and haven't gotten a single evolution stone

 

Skarmory and Furret in the living room is pretty good

......yeah I definitely quit during or right after gen 2. A few looked familiar like the Eevee evolves, Wooper, Marill, and Sentret. But most of the others look very odd and new to me. But strangely, the babies all look new to me too except Togepi.

 

I haven't seen a pidgey or rattata since I've upgraded! It's a damn miracle!

 

Already got 34/70 of the Johto Pokémon! Goin hard

How the hell do you post images from mobile? Everytime I click the camera symbol and paste the link it shows up as a red X.

 

where'd you get that 70 number? There are 100 Gen 2 total, and I know there aren't 30 that are NOT in the game

 

Why am I out here trying to catch every Murkrow like I'm able to evolve it tomorrow

 

Went on a run and opened this back, Swinub's are my new drowzee which is fun, Mammoswine might be a top ten favorite of mine. But I probably won't play much longer. It was 60 today so like I felt bad not going out.

 

Well looks like I'll be playing again. I always loved gen 2

 

Caught about thirty already. Feels like it's going a lot quicker than gen 1.

 

I think part of the difficulty (maybe) is that it's relying on you to have already put in the work for a lot of these guys during Gen 1. If you didn't stock up on Porygon, Onix, Chansey, Poliwag, etc. you might have to do a lot more work this time around.

Although I have already caught a handful of second-tier evolutions from this group. Maybe they're just easier to get?

 

They seem to be far more common than gen 1 was, but they've been running way more than gen 1 ever did for me.

 

Is Skarmory a rare gen 2 pokemon? Just caught a wild one; seems badass but only 78cp lol

 

It looks like the only ones not discovered yet are Smeargle, Delbird, and the 6 legendaries. There are definitely 90+ Gen2 Pokemon.

 

Yeah they said over 80 new ones were introduced. Say it's 85ish, then you add in that the babies were already in the game, and you have over 90.
