I'd say 132 is pretty good.

 

You live pretty close to water though right?

For me, I had to make it a point to drive to parks that had a lake, grab two Magikarp and then leave because they wouldn't spawn again for a while. Repeat that process until I hit 400 candies. It wasn't easy but it wasn't hard. Much more balanced than the other Pokemon.

 

Yeah i live near a lot of water and I'm pretty close to my second gyrados

 

I frequent the downtown area, famous for the river walk, and there's hardly any magikarp that I've come across. There's even a park with a lake by my house and I've never seen one there.

 

I'm kind of curious to see how this new generation will switch up the eggs. Like, will Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan be removed from the 10ks now?

 

Good point - forgot I was literally next to the atlantic ocean almost every day lol. Matter of fact I'm never less that 100yards from a body of water at home or at work! Must be why I caught that Lapras while sitting on the toilet that one time

 

Gen 2 will get me back into this some.

 

I've caught one the whole time I've been playing. And it was in the middle of the fucking street.

 

Downloaded the new update, and there's some slightly cool things already implimented. Every pokemon has it's gender listed, the evolve button is slightly different, the screen when you are cathing a pokemon has a quick button for balls and berries.

Also, I updated my dude to have shorts on, no shoes, no backpack and a new hoodie. Also changed hair and eye color to match mine. Not all that exciting, but it's something until Gen 2 appears in the wild!

 

Haha lucky! I'm hoping one of my three 10ks that I have going is a Lapras. I'm kind of sad that the big guys like Lapras and Dragonite have avoided me all the way until the release of Gen 2. On my last four of Gen 1...

eh, don't be. It doesn't include the front end roll out of the new pokemon, it's only slight design changes in the back end

6-Hour lures are also staying until the 18th.

I'll definitely be getting the storage upgrade because I like to keep at least one of everything I've caught.

Any word about when they'll release Gen 2? Maybe this afternoon along with the discount?

 

I've seen rumors that gen 2 is coming out Saturday but obviously no clue if that's true or not.

 

I wish they'd do that with bag upgrade too.

 

I don't want to buy more space for pokemonnnn, it should just happen. Without it you won't even be able to hold one of everything

 

Why in the world would they announce this without an immediate release, if not at least a hard date? The vast majority of people who have stopped caring about this game at all and could potentially be drawn back in by new Pokemon now just have more time to forget they're even being added.
