Interesting. So that should be the main factor when deciding which to level up? Just seems odd since I'll get some Pokemon with CP 10 but their special move does like 50 damage and I'll get a much higher CP of the same Pokemon but their special move will only do 20 or 25 damage.

The "moves" don't really count as much in this game as they have in previous versions.

For ex. if you have a CP 100 Caterpie with a special attack that does 50 points of damage up against any other pokemon with that same level of CP or higher, the Caterpie will get destroyed because it doesn't have hardly any HP and wont survive for longer than a few quick hits. This is largely due to the fact that they did away with the fighting style that allowed each play to take turns picking a move.

Because the fighting is all based on tapping quickly + random chance + connection speed, fighting is all about who has the most HP and the best non-special move.

I'm on my feet all day and my lady and I go on multiple waks during the day and throughout the night. I'm also a server at a restaurant and that really adds a lot to it as well. This app has gotten us out of the house though and at weird times. She used to want to just go to the bar - but now she just wants to play this. I don't drink so I love the fact that this is something we can do together.

 

Hey, I didn't say I caught those bastards. haha. This Walmart is pretty close to Mizzou's campus and a lot of student apartments surround it, so it gets a lot of college-age traffic.

 

I've heard that Walmarts have a ton of Pokemon but the nearest one to me is 20 minutes away. Might still have to check it out sometime soon though.

 

A 400+ Nidoqueen showed up in the wild the other day, and it ran away after a razz berry and 1 pokeball throw. Super bummed. Caught a ~350 Magmar this morning though, so it's not all bad. I really need to level up. Slacking..

 

All I do is think about this game..

I'm having more and more fun with gyms too now that I'm a high enough level to compete. Quick way to level up too.

 

I want to stop playing because of the 3 paw glitch but I end up spending more time excercising because of it.

 

I honestly haven't given a shit about the paws since I've had this app. It never works anyways. Any time I see the Pokemon on my "Nearby" screen, another Pokemon NOT on the radar will always pop up first. I actually don't think I've ever caught something I was looking for. Even when I spot the leaves rustling, I never actually see anything in those spots.

 

Put my first Pokemon in a gym today. Less than a minute later it was back in my phone with 1 HP. Lol.

 

Looks like the naming convention for Eevee is true. Named mine Rainer and got a Vaporeon.

 

I decided to open up the app and a Pikachu showed up. I caught it so I'm happy now.

What is going on with the curve balls? Can someone explain it to me please? I'm positive I don't do anything different to make it curve. I've wasted so many balls because of this.

 

In San Francisco for work and there's a Gyrados on my radar and I've got to leave the area in ten minutes smh, doesn't help that everything still has three footsteps

 

I took a gym, held it, and lost it in a five minute span today. That was exciting.

I've had less than 10 Pokeballs for 24 hours now.
