also caught this bad boy this morning, though it's (relatively speaking) pretty weak

 

I don't get this, at all. But evidently its the best thing since the wheel.

 

So many poison types.

 

My daily step average was roughly around 22,000 before this game came out. Now it's roughly around 34,000. It's doing a lot of good.

That being said - yesterday I caught a Blastoise but it's CP was only 31. I nicknamed it "Your Mom" since it'll be easy to take down in gyms.

 

jesus christ, the most i've ever done since i started fitbit 3-4 years ago is 32,000 and i was on my feet the whole day. how do you hit 34,000 on a daily basis? im happy if i get 15k

Hatched a Drowsee and Mankey today so far out of 5k eggs. Need to catch one Eevee to complete the Evolution trifecta. Need one more Bulbasaur to get Ivysaur. Also pro-tip:

I got to my local park this morning at 7:15 and grabbed a Gym. You can claim your Defender bonus immediately. I held the Gym for 4.5hours. Literally the definition of the early bird gets the worm in rural areas, TBH.

 

My coworker and I both caught Aerodactyls at our office. His was level 400+, mine was 29....

 

I'm happy that I can finally compete in gyms with Vaporeon/Jolteon pretty high CP, butttt I need to visit some different locations to find some new pokés. Always see the same shit in my daily routine.

 

FYI - nicknames don't show up when your pokemon is at a gym.

Jealous of that Blastoise action though.

 

I wish I could change my SN in the game. I was trying to use titles from albums I really like in the wee morning hours of a Saturday and nothing was hitting until I got to The Waterfall by My Morning Jacket.

Level 18.5 now. Too late to go back & start over.

 

if you go to the pokemon go website theres a form you can fill out to change it.

EDIT: Looked it up. Appears that changes are only approved if your SN includes personal information and even then, changes take up to a few weeks to get processed by Niantic. I'm stuck. TheWaterfall lives on I suppose.

A co-worker of mine had a kid run into the side of her car last week trying to catch Pokemon while she was driving. The only reason his buddy behind him did not also hit the car is because he was using his friend as a body shield. She stopped to ask if he was ok, his response was, "I'm ok, I'm ok, I got the Pokemon, I got the Pokemon". He ran off immediately after with what was easily identified as a broken nose due to the amount of blood pouring out of it.

I'm pretty sure that every Pokemon on that rare Pokemon list hasn't been released into the wild yet. I'm guessing they'll only come out during special events at specific locations.

 

All I want is a farfetch'd because he reminds me of hockey but I've never seen him yet.

So how do I decide which Pokemon I should evolve if I have multiple? Some will have way lower CP but have stronger attack damages than some with high CP.

 

If you look at the half circle above their rendering, it will show their potential. The further along the dot is, the less you will be able to level it up.
