I'm actually ok with that. I hate looking at the empty/numbered slots in my dex and forgetting what pokemon it is.

 

That's how the actual games work so..that's okay

 

Just caught a 1513cp Snorlax in my house. Today is a good day.

Guess what, we're all "diehard fans" because we still play. Not inaccurate I guess...haha.

 

Yeah, I'd definitely say i'm a diehard fan of this game, as I was for pokemon back in 2000. It's that nostalgia plus stubbornness that will keep me playing until I complete the pokedex. I don't really blame anyone for quitting the game tbh 'cause it can be such a ballache at times...

 

Yeah they're doing a pretty good job of killing the game. I didnt play on the weekend for the first time since its come out and I dont think I will be anytime soon without a new scanner.

Got 12 pokemon left and I'm not wandering around hoping Kabutops or Charizard appears. Want to complete the dex but seems impossible without the scanner.

 

I've gotten to know the spawn points in my neighborhood so well that when something rare pops up in my nearby, I know exactly where to check. I added a Magmar to my Pokedex and got another Snorlax this weekend. I also checked out a doduo nest according to silph road and that has worked great. I recommend you check silph road you complete your Pokedex that way. I'm at 128 right now.

 

The only way I've climbed up to 110 is by checking my city's Pokemon Go page on Facebook. Everyone helps contribute as to where the nests are in town, so I've at least been able to see where I might go to catch a couple of things I need. Also helps when the nest shift that people can tell you what it has changed to. Unfortunately, this last shift seems like it killed almost all of the good spawn points in town so I haven't really even played in well over a week. I still need almost 300 Magikarp candies. haha.

 

Just evolved a 1739cp Arcanine and it's top move was fucking bulldoze. Fuck this game!!!

Edit: Also I viewed a gym with an Exxegutor in it and now my fucking dex is 123/124 - I hate being uneven. I HATE LIFE!

 

I just evolved ...finally...a Blastoise. This is 1/3 for final evolutions of start pokemon for me and I've always been a bulbasaur guy.

After all of the time and build up for this, I'm pretty disappointed to see how lackluster it is...1340CP and it only has 103 HP. Moves are Bite (6) & Flash Cannon (60).

I've NEVER seen the move "Flash Cannon" before. WTF?

 

New steel move, I got ice beam and I love it

 

I just want a bomb Venasaur that can take down 2 Vapes at a time.

I despise Vapes.

But alas, there are very few Bulbasaurs throughout the Pittsburgh area. If I ever get one, it wont be for awhile.

 

That's how I feel about Charmanders and Squirtles. 102 candies from Charizard, 67 away from Blastoise.

On the other hand, I'm only 50 candies away from my SECOND Venusaur (haven't even bothered to catch a ton that I've seen). Bulbasaurs are like everywhere out here.

 

I have a blastoise, like 30 from a Charizard, and have yet to catch a Bulbasaur

 

Oh baby. Saw a Weezing on my radar sitting at home. It disappeared about a minute later so I ran cammando down my street to where I thought it would be and found it. What a rush.

Only took one ball too. 1250 cp but shit IVs

 

I cannot even imagine seeing a pokemon as rare as that in the wild. Best i've caught was a Clefable lol.

 

Where do you live? I'm packing up my things now...

 

Any decent sized city in Missouri has Bulbasaurs but you're out of luck for basically any other rare ones. Haha.

 

I caught two Bulbasaurs sitting at my desk at work this morning and I've been here 20 minutes. I would trade them for Voltorbs or Magnemites any day. The only ones of those I have came from eggs (I have 2 of each).

Hatched a Diglett yesterday that gave me enough candies to evolve. I am now at 123 caught, 124 seen. It would have been even before the update, but now Gyarados shows as seen since it is on every gym in the world and I checked one.

 

I haven't opened this game in a few days now, feel good about it too.

 

Same here. What I realized while having some dwindling interest in this game is that unless I'm running/biking around a trail or at a park, I will probably not have this app open. Each time I've been out and about lately, I'm with friends or I'm in for too long of a day to have this app kill my phone battery.

To add to that, a lot of my upcoming work trips got canceled so I won't be anywhere cool until I go on vacation. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Belize will not have very many Pokemon, though.

 

Just caught a CP 96 Clefable wooo add that to the dex!

 

Hatched a 10km eevee. Fuck this game

 

I've been holding onto my oddish and bellsprout candies for the perfect ones. Just found back to back ones over 700 cp which would have been perfect but they both had the worst tier of IVs.....

0.3 k from hatching a 10k. Will rage about my new Onix in a little bit.
