Maybe it'll depend on the general rarity of the pokemon. Like 5k for rare pokemon, 2-3k for less common ones, and 1K or less for super common ones. Something like that.

 

1 candy every 5km would be ridiculous. Wouldn't be worth walking 3 miles for 1 candy.

 

Well your walking would still contribute to egg hatching

 

Maybe the first candy comes easier and they get progressively longer, then reset each day

 

How are they enabling candies for walking your Pokemon but not for battling with it?

Battling is the whole goddamn point of all this!!!!!

 

I really don't think battling is happening, and it honestly shouldn't unless they change the whole battle/moves process as a whole (which I think they also shouldn't).

 

Evolved my Mankey into a Primeape just now. Slowly finishing off all my available evolutions. 101/101 now.

 

A Primeape showed up during those triple lures and it was amazing. I got two new pokemon today, including Sandshrew which I found on my bike ride home. I love living in a more populated area

 

Had a Poliwrath show this morning then it disappeared as soon as I tapped him

 

I did get my Alakazam BTW, pokedex at 127

 

my dragonite has been sitting at the dodger stadium gym for a full day now i'm honestly so confused

 

Heading to a music festival out in the woods all weekend so I'm just going to assume I won't be catching anything. The only time being in a giant crowd of people won't benefit you in this game haha.

While waiting between sets at Blink the other night, I finally caught a Tauros and Jynx.

 

Ended up getting a Jynx with my 10k which is actually a new Dex entry for me. Got another 10k at 9.2 hopefully can be lucky again. Any of the fossil Pokemon would be a delight.

 

It's also not unheard of for people to travel to Australia. Could be legit.

I usually don't have much issue logging KMs while biking like other people do. But today I went 6 or 7 miles and barely took an egg from 9.2 to 10.0. Not sure what happened.

 

It's funny to me that you had to point this out.

 

Holy shit. Just hatched my highest CP Pokemon and it's a 1649 Lapras! . Came with 16 candy so now he's up to 1855 CP:D. Not bad at all. Caught my second Dratini immediately after.. not a bad start today!

Yeah no complaints here! It was my first 10k egg. Idk how Ive only ever gotten one of those eggs, considering I'm at level 21.

Been having a pretty lucky week. Only shitty thing that happened was that I saw my first Electobuzz, but it was 999 CP, I only had Pokeballs, and it ran :(. Was way lower for my girlfriend so she got it first throw.

 

Finally evolved my squirtle today. Bulbasaur remains evasive.

 

After 197 km walked and 230 hatched eggs, I FINALLY have a freaking Charmander. I was far too stoked when that happened.
