Pikachu has that cry in the main series games too! since x/y I think.

 

My Clefairy spawn point at my house got turned into a Vulpix one like that list said it would, so I'm now one away from a Ninetails. Unfortunately, I've yet to catch/hatch one with a CP above 300 so it's not looking like I'll have a good one when that happens.

 

I've only found one wild drowzee ever, and one hatched. It's crazy they're so common elsewhere

 

Whenever I turn on the game there are basically two right in front of me.

It would be so easy to switch that to anything else, I'd love doduos or ekans or voltorbs, I'm just so sick of drowzee.

I caught an alakazam yesterday. It was like 800 cp and took about 10 razzberies and all 10 of my ultra balls.

 

I hate to be like "well actually...." but when I first started playing, this was actually on my mind and I checked. I caught a Pikachu real quick, first couple weeks, and I'm almost positive it's always had the actual "pikachu!" sound, rather than the gameboy 8-bit noise. Please correct me if I'm wrong though

 

I've definitely caught them before and heard the 8-bit. I've caught about 7 or 8 and that was the first time I recall hearing the actual "Pikachu."

 

Niantic please...

 

Yea, this type of pokemon is nonsense.

Am I the only one that uses stardust to upgrade Pokemon?

All of your pictures include so much more stardust than I ever have because I keep dumping it into different ones to get more CP.

I think they did update it at some point, but it has definitely been that way for a while.

I realized that when you are viewing your Pokemon's stats and stuff (like in the screenshots just posted), you can spin the Pokemon around and click on them to make them do their animation and make their noise. It was like a month ago that I clicked on Pikachu and found out it talked.

 

First one I caught about a week after the game came out said pikachu.

 

I swear I recall catching pikachu and specifically being disappointed along with my ex that it didn't make the Pikachu sound.

 

Updated squad. Caught the Rhydon randomly this morning. I still can't evolve a Vaporeon to save my life.

Oh yeah? Well I caught a Tauros at a Def Leppard concert last night.

Finally found an actual nest. Caught me about 9 Nidoran females to take me within 4 candies to a Nidoqueen.

 

Been sitting at level 22, 85/86 caught/seen, and a 1400CP Victreebel as my highest...

Popped a Lucky Egg and grabbed 73,500 XP, leveled up to 23, and am now at 94/94 caught/seen.

Now my top guy is an 1872CP Exeggutor. Moved up a little!

 

I finally have a great Arcanine (1281) so I can take down gyms. I've gotten one today and one yesterday. They aren't held for long (go Team Instinct) but hey it's pretty exciting for me!

 

Wanted to wait for a few more new Pokemon before I used that egg but I had like 80 evolutions to go through, so oh well. haha. One or two more away from evolving five more new ones.

Also have 108 Bulbasaur candies, so I'm pretty excited about that, but overall, I don't really know what I'll do with this game after I get those last few. My interest in hatching eggs has all but died so I don't really think I'll probably keep playing enough to grab some of the Pokemon I'm far away from.
