Yo fuck this game. I'm ten coins from an incubator, and I beat this gym three times on break to get those last ten. But every time the battle ended I'm running three blocks away and then immobile, so the other team just take it back every time.

At 20 and I haven't even seen a charmander silhouette. Good thing it was my starter lol

 

Seen 2 charmanders and both ran after one ball

 

I've caught 3 since my original Charmander :(.

I also caught Ivysaur before I got a Bulbasaur.

 

Level 23. Only seen charmander and bulbasaur at lure parties. Squirtle the only one I've ever found in the real wild and I've got a bunch of them. Even a wartortle.

 

I haven't played in a week or two, what's this appraisal thing? I assume the things the professor tells you are about IVs, but what messages are the best ones?

Am I the only one here who semi-consistently and shamelessly spends money on this?

 

Sometimes I buy incubators. I've probably spent $15 since I started playing.

 

....exeggutor is the best pokemon in the game

 

So far the only one of my own Pokemon I can put in a gym and train against that beats my Vaporeon.

It's funny because in RBY I'm pretty sure it was the only Pokemon weaker than its pre-evolution

 

I have 19 dratini candies so that must be how many I got since I never caught one before.

 

So, after catching my first Bulbasaur yesterday evening, of course I go and hatch one first thing this morning

Also evolved a Nidoqueen yesterday too - considerably better CP (1462) than my Nidoking (970) too!

 

honestly not that much into the game anymore. there just isn't much for me to do (i live in a fairly small town)
i barely get any random encounters i feel like. and i think it doesn't quite track my distance for the eggs quite properly. i have a shit ton of 5k eggs which i can't imagine will give me a whole lot of interesting options. i got one 10k egg which gave me Snorlax
the things that DO spawn nearby are just the same old over and over with an occasional surprise. like when i just went to boot the game up a few seconds ago, a 466cp Tauros spawned. first i've seen!

 

It at least seems like lately they've altered it so that rarer ones are a little easier to get. I've cooled off on the game quite a bit, but I've still been seeing a bunch of stuff I didn't use to see when I occasionally open the app. Also made the starter Pokemon appear more often, it sounds like. After playing since the app has been out, I just now doubled my Squirtles and Bulbasaurs in the last week.

 

A day in the outskirts of Nashville definitely gives me an idea of playing in a small town, no stops anywhere! But there was a pikachu in the driveway when we arrived, getting me my last to evolve!

Driving around I've seen some good ones on the nearby though, so some searching would find stuff. I'm going downtown in a bit, so that should be poppin'
