Caught a dragonite behind my house today. Life is good sometimes.

 

Still never seen a Dratini. Ugh.

 

I have like 33 dratini candy, another ran from me today. Only seen like one Dragonair silouhette, Dragonite needs to just pop up in front of me.

 

Had Gyarados pop up on my map today when searching around my house. Couldn't find it. Man I was so mad. I also hatched my 10km and it was just an Eevee. 487, which is still good, but I was hoping for something I never got before.

 

Saw one dratini and it rain away. Never saw a dragonair. Caught dragonite with one razzberry and one ultra ball. CP was 1300+

Also I have seen ONE Dratini and never a Dragonair or Dragonite. Staying hopeful though.

I'm two Dratinis away from a Dragonair but there is literally 0.1% chance I'll get the candies to evolve one into a Dragonite before I get bored of this game!

 

I feel like there have to be good spots to get Dratini around here. I didn't think Growlithes could be caught here until I started seeing Arcanines in gyms everywhere, then I found the nest. Now I've been seeing Dragonites in every gym so people are getting them somehow.

 

I seen Arcanine's all over too but have only seen one growlithe, and that was back on pokevision.

 

Spent 10 minutes before work taking down a gym and then right after I finished all of a sudden someone else had taken it over before I could. Didn't see anyone around either, they must have been very sneaky haha.

 

I generally don't spend time taking down gyms, but this one time I swear I had to knock this team out of there five separate times before it would give me enough time to get one of my guys in there. I hate how people can just wait and sneak right in, but I also don't really know what they would do to fix that.

 

At my university I can find a few dratinis each day,

 

Never caught a dratini before. Hatched one in an egg but that's it. One actually came up on my map the other day but I couldn't find it.

 

How many candies did it come with? My old roommate hatched one, and it came with like 30 candies so he could immediately evolve it. I had never seen that happen before.

 

really wish they'd up the minimum speed for egg hatching. i did 9 miles today at 7-8 mph and got 2k on my 5k egg ):

 

Not even the speed thing that bothers me, it's more the accuracy of the app that drives me crazy. When my running app says I ran almost 4 miles down the trail, but my eggs only register 1K, something's wrong.

 

YES!!! After 6 weeks, 25 levels and 2024 pokemon caught, I finally encountered and caught my first Bulbasaur!!! It's CP kinda sucked (344) but who cares - Bulbasaur was the first pokemon I ever got all the way back on Pokemon Red so

 

Who gives a shit Bulbasaurs are like Pidgeys in my region you loser

Just hatched a Charmander from a 2k. Righteous.

That's insane. There are Bulbasaur everywhere here haha

 

Still never seen a bulbasaur, have like 80se squirtle candy tho

 

I'm finally hitting more of both of those since my house opened up as a better spawn point. Jumped to 76 Bulbasaur candy and 33 Squirtle candy... Still only 10 Charmander candy though. I've never even encountered one.

 

Yeah i've only ever hatched a Charmander too. Seen enough Squirtles to get a Wartortle though, so it's weird how much more common they are than the other two - plus there have been wild Blastoise about; no chance is a wild Charizard or Venusaur popping up around here...

 

Yeah same here! I have seen a Venusaur silhouette a couple of times and a wild Ivysaur or two, but yeah, nowhere have I ever seen a silhouette of any Charmander evolution.

I made the mistake of evolving an Ivysaur really early in the game and he was terrible (390CP), so now I'm kicking myself because I should have just saved those candies for this new one I'm about to evolve.

 

What's the best thing the buy in the store? As someone who isn't spending real money on the game it took a long time to get 150 coins. Leaning towards the incubator but the lucky eggs are tempting
