Yeah, so it's good for a general sense of area instead of exact Pokemon location

 

The actual nearby system finally seems to work really well for me at least in my little hotspot. The spot is to the left of my neighbor's house, but I can sometimes catch one to the right of the same property.

With the Kadabra I just got, I checked the better spot, he wasn't there so I went to the other one and ended up catching him. That's the first time I have left my house because I saw something on the tracker. haha.

 

I've seen three Abras before, two have run after my first ball.

 

Abra definitely runs the easiest for me

 

Abra always used to run if it broke out of a pokeball in the gameboy games too, didn't it? They run the easiest for everybody I think - I think it's an intentional nod to it's teleportation ability!

 

Do you need to get a minimum of a "Nice!" Throw to get the curve ball bonus or something? Thats really the only time I seem to get an XP bonus for curves, giving me 120 XP. Stupid if so.

 

I thought about that too. That was the only one I remember in the original games that stood out as being hard to catch.

 

Ive never even seen an abra in the wild. Only got one from an egg.


Also, did not know you get such a bounty for hitting 20. Sweet

 

I've seen 3 abra, the third being the first and only one I've actually caught. Meanwhile, my girlfriend has gotten enough to evolve into a Kadabra just from sitting at her job 15 minutes away >_> haha

 

Never even seen an Abra silouhette. That one and Grimer seem to be the only ones that are completely out of my area.

 

I've seen 8 Abras. Caught 2, 2 ran away, game froze for 4.

 

I feel lucky now because I see Abras all the time but I haven't caught any super high ones. I just checked and the highest so far I have is 160 cp.

 

My play time has slowed significantly since the updates and I started playing the emulator. Might be kinda done honestly.

 

After I get the 22 remaining, I'll be done. Til the next generation is introduced I suppose!

 

Already know I'm not playing once the next gen is out. I was never familiar with those so I can't see myself spending any amount of time trying to collect even MORE of these fucking things. Haha.

 

If the 10k egg I have brewing now hatches something bad I'll be done. If it's something great I'll probably be pumped to keep playing.

Just caught an Onyx and a Clefairy at a braves game, hooray for baseball

 

I was at work and I noticed the gym right near by was held by a person with a 3061 cp Dragonite and all I could think was they probably spoofed for it.

 

Just took over my local gym! I used a CP 900 Vaporeon (I'm level 16) and feels pretty great to take down a level 3 gym

 

Saw this on vacation. Just damn.

Got to level 24 this morning! s/o to all the pidgeys & weedles I evolved 2 get there - the real MVP's of this game

Had a Lapras silhouette & a Pikachu come up on my sightings list at the same time yesterday whilst on the bus - I knew exactly where they were likely to pop up too, about 1min away, but the bus driver had stopped for literally no reason & they disappeared

 

Gotta hatch these eggs. Excited to have 2 10km going. I need two new things with both.

I caught a Slowbro this morning too!

 

Level 34....that's.....a lot of Pokemon.
