I'm at 138/138 now got that Machamp! I'm planning to go to a town in the East Bay after work to work on my Kabutops and Alakazam. Then Muk and Snorlax I'll probably just never catch.

 

The town I used to go to that had tons of Pokestops always with lures was destroyed a few weeks ago, haven't found any new ones since. Bummer.

 

I'm sorry, the town was destroyed?! What the fuck happened?!

yup, that's like half an hour from me. was there like a month ago, at that famous cafe that got destroyed as well. my good friend's sister's car got destroyed since she was at work when this was going on

I remember seeing that vid of the human chain rescuing that woman on the news too.

 

holy shit, I never even heard about that

 

Shockingly there was only 2 deaths. But tons of people lost their business/homes.

I really hope that trading isn't just local and in person but I'm pretty sure that's how it will be otherwise I'd be so down!

 

honestly I really hope trading is in person, kinda cheapens the experience if everyone's able to just trade with randos online to get everything within minutes. trading in person encourages you to be social and still makes you have to do some work to complete your pokedex.

 

I agree with the local trading. It would undermine everyone's hard work if you could just trade with anyone in the world. It's just funny to me to joke about wanting a Drowzee so bad since tons of people hate them. Haha.

I'm wondering if they'll ever incorporate the other means of evolving. Like trading a Kadabra or getting the fossils or stones.

 

I'd be cool with in person only if there weren't region exclusives

I know I sound like a broken record about it but it's like, one or the other would be fine. Both sucks

 

You guys are really sweating those region exclusives. Aside from Kangaskhan, we got the best one anyways.

 

As long as the Legendary birds as well as Mewtwo eventually become available, Mr. Mime and Farfetch'd can fuck off.

Yeah farfetch'd is the best one out of those exclusives so I'm mad I can't even catch him.

 

It's not like I want to use them in battles but not being able to complete the pokedex without traveling to three different continents is shitty.

 

I watched the Farfetch'd episode of Pokémon last night and I loved it. Really wish I could get one.

 

I gotta imagine they'll be available when trading goes live, and if trading is only local, I'd hope they would use them as buffer events between Legendaries, etc. They're not gaining anything by withholding them from us.

 

Yall make it sound like you've completed an in game dex before.
