There’s still a day 2 and we’ll all get a shadow articuno, zapdos, moltres, mewtwo and a victini through the research tomorrow. Plus we can get alot of the shinies from today in the wild tomorrow as well.

 

Other than some hiccups along the way, I thought today was a ton of fun! Thanks for any raid invites too!

 

Any idea if there will be a simple research task tomorrow that gives us another 200 Great Balls?

 

Got 18 shinies today. Also saw a shiny Meditite but my Gotcha tried to catch it at the same time and made it run away. Overall a pretty great day for me!



The last row is another Ponyta, a Marill and a Seviper.

 

The first part has a task that gives 100 pokeballs

 

I honestly don't think I'm going to be about to get Victini tomorrow based on the requirements.

The rocket grunts and boss are weakened so they're easier to beat

 

Ended with 11 shiny today, some exciting some boring.

 

I can’t believe I played off and on for 12 hours. I probably haven’t played 12 hours in a whole year

 

Yeah this is the longest I played in 1 day since probably 2018

Really hoping for better luck today cause it seems like everyone did well except me haha

 

Maybe I can finally beat Sierra if she’s weakened and I can finish this special research task I’ve had for like a year

 

Not a single shiny for me yesterday :(

PS - Not totally sure how it works, but I've been in a super rural area for the last few months, and even when I drive to areas where there are multiple stops and gyms, nobody up here seems to take part in raids. So if anyone is looking to add numbers, I'm all for being invited to a raid.

 

I hope my luck continues today, but I probably won't play as much as yesterday.

Do the leaders have any special pokemon for the day? I only need Sierra, but Cliff is the first one that's shown up in a balloon (and you get two components per grunt today).

 

I have had the game open for 30 minutes and I still haven’t had a balloon show up. They used to come all the time be fore the event.

Leaders with line-ups and counters. Just beat Sierra first try.

 

Balloons are coming pretty regularly for me, but I keep getting Sierra over and over, and I only need Cliff.

Also, my Swampert with Mud Shot and Muddy Water was able to take down Sierra solo, and handle Arlo pretty well + pretty much any fire Pokemon

 

I restarted the game and they finally started showing up for me.
