Here’s hoping for some shinies

 

I got stuck in the third level because of the egg hatching task but we decided to go to dinner downtown tonight so hopefully. I’ll get it done then lol

 

I only got a shiny Aron, whiscash, and snubbul. Let’s gooooo sinnohhhhhhhhh

 

After a quick look around, I forgot how disinterested in Gen 4 I am.

 

I want a shiny Glameow more than any shiny in game right now. Purugly is one of my favorite Pokemon.

Already got another shiny Chimchar so far.

 

First click was a shiny pika Lucario!

Gen 4 is my least favorite of the Pokemon games.

 

idk how yall can dislike gen iv more than gen iii haha, that Hoenn event highlighted how painfully limited the Pokemon it introduced are, least engaged ive been with the game in a while

 

Half of gen 4 is evos and legendary pokes. It lacked any new ideas. Three games didn't agree well either imo.

 

I also need to catch a croagunk and I have not seen one in the two hours we’ve been at dinner and I put two lures on separate stops lol

I’ve literally only seen starters, Glameow and Buneary

 

There’s like one ground Pokémon in this generation it’s gonna take forever for me to find one

 

That was my thought too. Then a Hippopotas spawned. I clicked it for the task and it was shiny.

 

I completed that task with a random Geodude lol. I'm stuck at the steel type.

 

I've seen a ton of hippoes

 

I’ve seen 2 wild Gible which is fucking insane

 

Now I’m waiting on steel. I just keep seeing Chimchar, Glameow, and Turtwig in a rotation.

 

Niantic has:
- throttled the rate of eggs dropping from gifts compared to the last three throwbacks because the egg pool is actually desirable
- made the actually desirable Pokemon in said pool much more rare to double up on that
- throttled Gible's shiny rate from 1/50 to 1/200 now that he's actually available

ive defended them on a lot of things but this kind of shit makes me much less interested in playing.

 

Waiting on Steel as well. I think Bronzor has a spotlight hour on Tuesday, so going to wait until then.

 

There's a Magnemite nest near my job, I'll have to pass by that place.

 

I bet I'll get the last .2 kms for my buddy candy sitting on my couch before I finally see a ground type with this incense.

 

No shiny for me in this quest line either, that's a big zero for any of the research when it comes to shinies

 

I haven't had much luck with shinies the last two weeks.
