I can’t find a damn normal type now

 

Finished the research. Didn't get shit. Surprise!

i mean shiny rates aren't boosted for research? you got items and encounters etc. i think just doing the research is fun

 

on that note a three star Skarmory raid popped within visibility of my apartment and i needed a steel type for the research so i threw a Remote pass at it cause i hadn't done one yet

lost three times but powered up a Raikou and a second Electivire and beat it, the screen literally had zero seconds left on the timer. most fun ive had battling in a long time.

 

Why is Shuckle a three star raid and so damn hard?

 

no shinies in the johto line of research for me either

 

Got my steel and electric at once with a magnemite.

 

Short answer: he's one of the best defensive pokes in terms of stats.

THE ONLY GEN 2 FIGHTING TYPE IS HERACROSS. How can I catch a fighting type for my research?

 

they've got Machop boosted

 

I’ve also seen quite a bit of Throh or however the hell its spelled

Yeah the Machop spawns are there because the only Johto fighting types are Heracross (who is a regional), Tyrogue (baby) and Hitmontop (which is pretty rare in the wild, if it's even available). Since there's a Fighting type gym in Gold/Silver, they had to make a catch a fighting type objective to follow the theme.

 

I'm at 3 shiny Snubbull with around 7 sets of research done. Also got this guy from the Johto research

 

I hatched a Shiny Ilumise this morning but no shiny Snubbull. I caught one in Barcelona last year today, though, so that’s cool.

 

Got 6 shiny Snubbull on 73. I'm satisfied.

Got a 100% Snubull, and that's all I really need.

 

I haven’t finished yet but I just got my first Shiny Snubbull.

 

The Granbull shiny is so lame compared to Snubbull. I probably won’t evolve it lol.

 

Seriously. They should have kept the purple color for Granbull.
