yeah, I can't remember the last time I leveled up.

 

I've been stuck at 22 for a while, only got the two 10k eggs so far

 

Had a Snorlax on my radar when I woke up today. Rushed outside and couldn't find it and it quickly disappeared.

 

Haven't played in weeks. Lost its appeal to me

 

Agreed - I've opened it a few times sat here at my desk at work, and at least 3 pokemon have popped up each time (including a Squirtle! only the 5th time i've seen one), so I've caught 12 without moving my perfect ass off this seat!

 

My (lvl 18) 10k eggs have been: Lapras, Margmar, Electabuzz, Pinsir, Eevee. Last two were major bummers, especially because a hotel I stayed at in philly ended up being a Pinsir nest.

 

I took mostly the same bike path around Princeton university a few times this week. Sunday I cleaned house. Tuesday a lot less. Yesterday almost noting. Weird.

 

Pretty sure the latest update made it harder to encounter Pokemon while diving, I used to catch a few on my way to work (passenger), today I've got zero so far

 

I agree. I always leave mine on while I drive to work. I don't even attempt to catch anything, but I leave it on in hopes of getting a bit of distance on my eggs. I always hear it spotting Pokemon, but lately it's not done anything.

 

Probably a smart move for the developers honestly, just means I'm gonna go back to Candy Crush for my drives, haha

 

Okay pretty sure where I'm living right now is a Snorlax haven of sorts. In addition to seeing this one, I caught one yesterday and two today. First I have seen/heard of any consistent Snorlax spawn. I am now very close to having my first 2000CP Pokemon with my Snorlax, currently 1950.

 

Caught this guy last night. Everyone was excited. First time I've seen one. I felt pretty cool.

Man I caught my second one yesterday and he was only at 226CP :( Must have been the runt of his litter.

Caught a Hitmonchan finally. First one I've seen but it's only 100cp

 

I haven't seen a wild Pokemon over 500cp in weeks.

 

I've been wondering lately if it's pointless to grow in level for how I like to play the game. Leveling up essentially gets you higher CP Pokemon but also makes them harder to catch. If I stayed as low level as possible and just went after new Pokemon I'd probably catch them easier and quicker, yeah?

 

It would make gyms really hard but other than that I guess so? Lol

 

Yeah that's what I'm getting at I suppose, I don't really care about the gym aspect, I only ever drop mine off if there's space, never fight it

 

Does level not also impact the diversity of things you find? I found that as I got higher I found a bigger variety of things in the wild. Maybe just coincidence though.
