Caught a shiny Alolan Meowth last night and a Shiny Torchic today essentially confirming I will not get a shiny Volbeat.

 

I haven't had a wild shiny in a while, it's very sad

 

I got my shiny Volbeat while waiting for the supermarket to open.

 

I've been using Incense like crazy since the beginning of the event but still haven't gotten any shiny yet.

 

I got two shiny feebas today

 

Right after I said that.

 

The next Volbeat I see is getting squished under my heel.

My shiny luck this event has been nuts (5 Feebas, Illumise, Volbeat, 3 Lillipup, Zigzagoon, and Eevee).

It's the advantage of having a gym at my house, I guess. I can guarantee 50 coins per day for incense and there is normally 6-8 spawns per hour without incense.

I have sent so many gifts from Sacred Heart Church it's kind of ridiculous.

 

Man, I have been on an absolute tear this event with shinies. Caught a shiny Eevee and Pineco today.

 

Right after clicking on 10 Volbeats, I got a shiny Feebas. Cool, but it's not the one I want right now.

 

I read that they didn’t increase the shiny odds for both Volbeat and Illumise during the event. 1/450 chances on both.

 

I've only got one shiny Feebas the whole event thus far.

 

I’m doing the Abra event and I made the mistake of evolving a Kadabra for the evolving 3 Abra task and now I have to evolve Kadabra for one lol

 

Finally gotta a shiny Abra but with bad stats

 

Can someone clarify something for me?

Do I need to purchase the pass to see ANY Abras, or will they appear normally like a CD but the event gives me a 3 hour special incense?

 

I didn't purchase a pass and I'm seeing a lot of them with just my incense, which is lasting 3 hours.

 

It's very weird that Abra's aren't fleeing after breaking out of the initial ball. And I've yet to have one break out of a second ball.

 

It would make sense if they decreased run rates for CD just like how they increase catch rates.

 

No shinies after almost 3 hours. My account is cursed.

Yeah it's just normal community day stuff with an option to buy a quest line for more encounters and things
