Bummed to find out that there is a cap on how many Battle League matches you can do per day lol

 

Just transferred 157 event Pokémon, most of them stupid Pikachu in hats. Feels good.

 

Started playing in the middle of the Water hour and stopped 10 minutes into the Psychic hour because I got bored and didn't want to waste another 3 hours catching Sentret. Got 2 shiny Sentret and 1 shiny Patrat that wasn't from an incense.

 

I was mostly playing to get some Litwick (got 5) and chance at a shiny (got 4 Sentrets).

Got a lucky Litwick in a trade with my daughter so that was pretty cool.

 

Naturally, right after the Easter event ends I find a shiny Exeggcute after not seeing a single one all event long.

 

I didn't realize Volbeat and Illumise are switching geographic locations during this new event. I guess my horde of Volbeat I brought back from France this summer aren't so special anymore.

On the bright side, they've added shinies for the two bugs, so there's an actual reason to try and catch some.

 

both shinies look pretty cool honestly, hopefully will snag one!

 

I'm concentrating my efforts mostly on Volbeat since he's not here normally.

 

I still had a couple Volbeats I got in Ireland last summer that I was hoping to trade for something cool. I guess it's out of the question now. I even had a trade planned for a shiny Ponyta :(

 

lol, that was my same thought process. Like I’m almost afraid to tap on an Illumise because it’ll be shiny and take my “shiny luck” away during the time I’m sure the odds are the highest for getting a shiny Volbeat.

 

Oh no. Does this mean no shiny Volbeat now?

 

I'd still be happy with a shiny Illumise because it looks good, but still be disappointed that it's the one I normally see everywhere. Of course I'm expecting to not get any of them and see the same people who always get shinies on my group get like 2 Volbeats and 1 Illumise or something like that.

also just caught a wild woobat and joltik. Never seen those in the wild before

 

Woobat is new in the wild. Joltik has been there for a few months but it was kinda rare.

 

got a shiny Wobuffet and a shiny Feebas during spotlight!

 

I got a shiny Chansey during spotlight hour!

 

I got a 14CP Shiny Feebas!

 

I got yet another shiny eevee

 

Sucks that the only Spotlight Hour I was excited for was the one with barely any spawns.

 

I encountered 150+ wobuffets during the hour, it was insane. No shiny sadly, wish spotlight hour had a shiny rate boost, doesn't have to be community day amounts but at least something!

 

Yeah Wobuffets were everywhere, just like Purrloin was two weeks ago. Can't say the same for Magnemite last week.
