I absolutely could not believe it when I got the third one last night at 2 a.m. when I was battling because I couldn’t sleep (due to my anxiety being at an all time high with everything going on).

I know this game can be a bit boring at time, but I will say with them making it a little more playable at home it’s been helping me destress. Like being able to pop an incense and it lasts for an hour and just catching something every minute while watching a movie or something has really helped to keep me from obsessively checking my phone looking up stuff on the virus.

 

i got one shiny cobalion from GBL so far and was thrilled. GBL legendaries are a fantastic addition to the game

 

... and I thought I was special for finding a shiny Natu while on my walk today to go pick up some pastries at the local Danish bakery.

 

Got a shiny Spoink. I love shinies that are the same colors but swapped.

 

Gettin real tired of this adventure sync bug

 

i got one single 7km by accident by opening gifts before the egg hatch animation came up so i didnt know i had an open slot. i lamented its existence. it turned out to be my oldest chase in the game!

 

There were 5 2KM, 3 5KM, and 1 7KM when I started cleaning the garage yesterday. This half distance event is pretty legit.

 

this is great because my wife and I just got done cleaning the garage and I hatched like 3-4 eggs (all garbage of course). But it was great

 

what's stupid is we're still not done. my grandmother passed away last year and we've never got around to sorting through her stuff. it's...a lot. and yeah, all my eggs were garbage, too.

 

I get it man. Sorry for your loss.

Embracing real-world gaming from home – Niantic

 

Niantic has handled this whole thing tremendously. the idea of getting to participate in Go Fest is really exciting. im never gonna travel somewhere just for it.

 

I got a shiny Drowzee today so that's cool.

 

Being able to raid from home is pretty cool. I saw someone throw out the idea of players being able to get a poke stop at their house kind of like how in the games you can get items from your home which I thought was a pretty cool idea even if just temporarily

 

My phone said I walked 4.4 km this week LMAO

 

Maybe let players place one temporary Pokestop that only them can see? That way you get a Pokestop at home but don't get a bunch of strangers stopping at your house to spin it.

 

the post mentions visiting places remotely so i have a feeling we will be able to spin certain stops from home (maybe whatever stop are visible on screen)

 

I don't have any Pokestop or gyms closer than 10 minutes from my house so that wouldn't change anything for me.

 

I added 3 stops to my neighborhood since submissions went live, so I would be all for this. I have three gyms and seven stops visible from my house.
