I had a 10k lucky egg when I was level 12. It was a Zubat some how. Haven't seen one since and I'm at 19 now.

I had a blast playing today. I've always enjoyed my time playing the game but today I can actually say it was really fun and left me wanting to play more. Caught a magnemite and 2 jynx. Had never seen them previously. Caught a handful of omanyte and kabuto that I don't see that often. Also got a horsea and a couple more pikachu.

 

I'm just lucky and live in Florida so I already have caught enough Magikarp to get a pretty solid Gyrados and halfway to another one. Magikarp are everywhere here.

I don't think I'll ever get a charizard though. Somehow my wife got one on a poke date we had and it didn't even show up on my screen. She also caught a Lapras with one throw of a regular poke ball after I fed it 20 berries and threw 20 ultra balls at it just to have it run away.

We did catch a Snorlax in our front yard the other night. That was pretty awesome.

Okay this post is gonna be super lame but I don't care I just need to get this out there, haha.

My mom has been pretty sick this summer which has made things a little harder and like, seeing her get involved with my Pokemon Go experience has been sooo much fun. She's been asking me daily who I've caught (and gets super excited when I get a new species) and has even offered to drive around different routes for errands so that I can go by more Pokestops. Having her involved has been really really enjoyable and honestly I just get so happy whenever she asks how my game is going.

(Meanwhile I just caught a Graveler in my local spawn spot so I'm feeling pretty good about this all, haha)

 

I haven't seen a single Snorlax, yet every gym near me has 2000CP+ Snorlax's in them.

 

My view in Venice right now. I feel like of all places, Articuno should be here.

Has anyone tried out the new battery saver mode? I know they said they fixed the issues in the update but I haven't actually tried it yet.

Not really that common - i've seen a silhouette on the tracker before (but I was on the bus so couldn't catch!) but nothing else. My friend caught one but hasn't seen one since. They are the creepiest looking things I have ever fucking seen (or not seen lol)...

 

I've had a pokemon at the same gym for almost a week now, guess no one is going to it because it was kinda in the middle of nowhere

 

Mmmmmmmmmm. That's some sweet Snorlax action there. I wish trading would open already. I want a goddamn Snorlax so bad.

I stopped using Stardust a couple weeks ago though and have about 250k saves up so I still only have 1 Pokémon about 2k CP but will have many more after this month I swore not to use Stardust. I'm trying to make sure I only level up Pokémon with an IV of at least 91%. It killed me when I found out my Charizard is only 27%. I have plenty Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur candies to get another 3rd gen of each but I'm waiting for that sweet 90% IV. Even the ones I've hatched were in the 70s.

No surprise education is in the toilet! Get a grip FCC. How about teaching real life classes if you feel the need to teach these little snowflakes...........maybe budgeting, manners, personal responsibility, and good decision making.

 

Does anyone else get the "GPS Signal Not Found" message all the time? Happens to me so much and then I have to force quit the app to get it to fix itself. Pretty annoying because it happens when I'm in an area with good cell service.

Just checked and found out I have PKMN with the following values. Didnt even realize.

Pinsir 91%
Vulpix 95%
Eevee 93%

I plugged them in the IV assistant and those were the only possible combinations. Wooooo

 

How do you find the IV?

 

ivs still confuse me. i just go with whatever has the highest attack lol

 

I don't know if you all are on iOS, but for me, this always is corrected by turning on Wi-Fi, even if I'm not connecting to any.

 

Same here. haha. I mean, I would care about things other than attack and HP if this game weren't about just clunky button mashing.

 

Yeah I'm on iOS and my WiFi is never turned off so I dunno

 

I just turn it on/off and it seems to work every time.
