yeah all the shinies were terrible and all my 3 star piplup weren’t even worth it tbh.

 

Piplup is my favorite and I got zero shinies. I’m sad

 

Was without phone service most of the CD times but ended up getting one

 

Was on the road for this CD. Nothing for me.

I like the concept of players voting, but not sure how I feel about it being through research tasks

Yeah the method of voting is pretty stupid. There's a lot of people who won't know about it and just do whatever task they stumble on. Also let's say you want to vote for Rhyhorn, but every Pokestop around you has another one. It's just too random.

 

Honestly, with the reward being 200 stardust a pop I could see myself popping a star piece in a high traffic pokemon/poke stop area and just tripling up the stardust for all the catches and rewards. I'd pretty much be okay with any of these as the community day pokemon (but would prefer machop so I can finally get my hulk).

 

I don't want Dratini because he's already had a CD. But I don't really care since I probably won't be able to participate anyway with the stupid new hours.

 

I wouldn't mind Dratini because it would give my wife a chance to get a shiny and I could get more candy to power up my 100% IV, purified Dragonite, with Draco Meteor.

of those, rhyhorn is obviously the logical pick right? it doesnt have a shiny and the move is actually useful

 

My desire to have a shiny Alolan Vulpix is being outweighed by my rational desire to have more, highly useful Machamps.
