I have never evolved any of my base forms since gen 2. So I just popped a few lucky eggs and evolved everything I had from 3 on up. Feels like it was just a few weeks since the release of gen 4 for some reason.

I did notice something weird. I always have my Pokémon sorted by number. And it then sorts by highest to lowest CP. But I noticed a few that were just randomly there. So like I have 3 Abra and the first one is 800 cp then 200 cp then 1000 cp. Is there a reason for that?

 

Also I still need a damn smeargle and I noticed I have a few shiny pichu. I have waaayyy too many hat and costume pikachu but for some reason I can’t bring myself to release them. And I need more Sinnoh stones!

 

got through a Giovanni with Persian/Rhyhorn/Articuno in three tries, wound up using Machamp/Swampert/Tyranitar

I just had the first female encounter run FROM A GOLDEN RAZZ AND ULTRA BALL WITH 118 CP.

Yeah why are they so hard to catch? I went through about 15 balls and berries trying to catch one yesterday.

I was surprised we didn't get more Galarian Pokemon, but when I think about it, most of them are regionals in Pokemon Go, evolve into a completely new gen 8 Pokemon or are just not in Go yet. Only ones that don't fall in those categories are Ponyta/Rapidash and Weezing.

Here's the shiny comparison for Burmy line, and no I am not kidding

 

LOL took me 3 minutes to realize the only difference for most is just the body being a little bit more blue

 

So I learned something today because of this. Apparently the shiny is shitty because a burmy looks like this:



and then the three colors are just cloaks to cover itself. So it wouldn't actually make sense for the cloak to change when shiny

 

Hatched a shiny Feebas!!!

 

I got my like 80th Beldum from a 10k egg today.
