Oh shit, I live on a farm and never had Pokemon spawning at home and now there are 6 spawns! They did something that redistributed spawn points which benefited rural players a lot.

 

I think I lost a few spawn points at my home and work both

 

I lost A ton. Used to have between 8-15 at any point. Now in loudly if I have one.

 

Wow. Nothing ever spawned at my house. Never once. And now 3 spawn.

 

It's funny because in the 3 years the game has been out I've never been able to get anything at my house. Now I have 2 spawn points that I literally can get from my couch or bed. I actually caught a shiny Lillipup last night which was great.

However, my wife and I have been taking nightly walks in our neighborhood for the past few weeks and it went from around 20 spawns in a 1km distance to about 5 (including the new spawn points at my house). So, that kind of sucks. I was super excited about it at first because I can catch them at my house, but once we went on that walk I instantly just wished it would go back to how the spawn points were before....sigh

 

Well this explains why there was nothing at my house last night when I opened the app (there was a spawn point right in my backyard so normally there were 4-5 at any given time). Bummer!

 

I'm about to go on my typical lunch-time walk at work, if I lose many of these spawns it's gonna be rough

 

Honestly, contemplating quitting the game at this point. Going on nightly walks with my wife was one of the main reasons I was still even playing it anymore. I'm gonna try again tonight, but if there are no spawns out there it's almost pointless for me to play.

 

with the way Niantic works, they could be swapped back like... tomorrow, we honestly have no way of knowing. But yes, for now it sounds like the swap really fucked you over

 

reddit is up in arms about the spawns but Niantic never seems to take anything reddit brings up into consideration.

It seems the new spawn criterias are the first repercussion of the lawsuit Niantic lost. I doubt it comes back to the way it was (fortunately for me and some other people, but unfortunately for others). The cluster spawns I go to (including my job) are still there and getting a ton of spawns at home was an added bonus.

 

Sounds like Galarian forms might hit GO soon. Info was found via data mining

 

I would guess if they show up it would be in November along with the new Switch game

 

They'll probably put them in 7k eggs.

 

with Sirfetch'd and Weezing being evos, I'm thinking raids. Hate that idea too though.

3 days in Florida and never got close enough to a Corsola. Come home and 5 of the 7 spawns at my house are gone. My neighborhood is a dead zone now. Fuck this game.

 

all the spawns near my apartment are gone and this sucks.

 

Saw a tweet from Niantic addressing the spawns and said “stay tuned for more details.” Whatever that means.

But, yeah Niantic really has a special way of fucking things up in this game.
