Found a random shiny Krabby at Disneyland last night. I also found a random shiny Natu last weekend while at the Santa Monica Pier. For me, that's pretty darn good shiny luck.

Should I reset the game or was there an update I missed?

 

The bugs of this game are so prominent that they legit ruin the gaming experience. Sorry about that, that sounds frustrating. If I have issues, I tend to uninstall the game and redownload it.

 

I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it didn't change anything. Sometimes spawns take longer but It's never gotten this bad where literally nothing shows up unless I walk half a mile lol maybe someone messed with the spawn map on ingress? Never used it so I'm not sure but I've heard that's a thing.

 

There was an OPM update the other day, which left a lot of college campuses labeled as schools which would prevent spawns. If it started early Thursday, it may be a long time before it is fixed. Just ask anyone on Long Island.

 

Seems to be taking a long time for spawns to pop up for me but it only happens sometimes.

 

Got a shiny Makuhita eating oysters with the family tonight. That was cool. 84% IV too
